I feel so hopeless being a fan of this franchise. I will never be a fan of any other NBA team outside Louisiana. Are we going to become good out of a potential AD trade?

Like win a title good? At least not until there is an ownership change.

Consider in the last 15 years they have like 13 playoff wins with a top 5 PG all time & another generational player in Davis. And 7 of those wins came in 1 season.

Putting together a good basketball-minded front office is paramount

And who controls that? Do you think Loomis is going anywhere under current ownership?

It could be worse. We could be the Lakers. They basically need a desperation trade from the Pelicans to not free fall into full on turmoil.

Doubtful and in a few years we probably won’t have to worry about being good or bad because we won’t have a basketball team anymore

It seems like the FO is trying to maximize the return on AD. If they are able to swing the mega return that they seek then it could be like when the Cowboys were 1-15 and traded Hershel Walker. I know, different sport but they received so many assets. Those assets led to their Super Bowls in the 90s that their fans still hang on to today.

Y’all need to be more realistic. I was trying to tell people that this year was the last year to keep AD in NOLA. I said at the beginning of the season, if we want AD to stay in NOLA long term, we have to compete in the west this year and if they don’t, then he’s getting out of here. Same with the franchise. Basketball is dead here in NOLA and if it continues (which it probably will continue after this disastrous season) then we won’t have a NBA team anymore and we’ll be strictly an NFL city

Ownership isn’t the issue. Mrs. B wants to win. I’m just hoping that those advisors that she relies on decide that they need to bring in
Some GM/ basketball ops talent.

One of these predictions is worlds away from the other.

Link to where the pels are in danger of moving?

Other than baseless claims?

They're not losing money and the franchise is worth 5x from when benson bought it
