Will anyone make the argument that AD23 having better rookie yr than CP3?

I think it's a tossup honestly. CP3 came in and gave NOLA hope that the hornets would even come back, so in that regard you have to say CP3. But at the same time AD23 came in to the franchise when we knew they wouldn't be going anywhere for a good while and people could get behind them. I guess the point I'm trying to make is both of their off the court contributions have/will matter more than on the court. or something.

No. Paul had one of the greatest rookie seasons we've seen in the last couple of decades. Hollinger, I believe, made the case at the time that Paul had a better rookie year than Magic.

Davis isn't at that level. Still he's putting up good numbers in limited minutes. 247 has a good read on it

Damn that is a good breakdown. Pretty awesome. He says that AD might just end up being solid, with almost spectacular blocking in the future, but I believe AD can develop into a beast. Just needs minutes and time to grow and develop. If Lebron can develop a low game this late in his career in the post, then AD certainly can too.
