They suck. They barely are a good team WITH LEBRON. Maybe if we get Kuzma, Ball, and Ingram with a hella picks (1st rounders) but come on! Those guys were terrible last year. There has to be other teams that are better than what the Lakers can offer. And personally I don't want the Ball family anywhere near this team. Who cares if AD wants to be in LA.

It would murder the NBA in this town. No way he should be traded to any West team.

If they offer all the young guys, and 4 unprotected picks plus 2nd rounders as fodder while taking back Solo, I would take that.

Let Magic/Rich Paul strong arm Ball to PHX and then let the new GM keep or flip Ingram/Kuzma. See if Pelinka/Magic can navigate Lebron's eventual decline with grace. Teams dont seem to fair well when Lebron leaves and a semi-serious AD or Lebron injury could put them in lottery territory any season.

Well, they were the 4 seed in the West with Lebron. Seems like you're going a bit overboard with the "barely good" thing.

Exactly. Asking for 25 Lakers 1st rounders isn't about getting them to say yes.

I agree 100%. The lakers aren’t winning a chip with lebron and AD. They will be lucky if both are healthy come any playoff time.

If the trade is ball, kuzma, Ingram, zubac, and possibly hart, cap relief plus 4 first rounders which would have to be over 8 years and a couple second rounders the pelicans would be idiots not to take it. That’s a Kings ransom. The picks could end up being high picks considering some will be way down the road.

Soggymoss... I couldn't care less that Demps isn't the one calling the shots... I'll allow it. Put a smiling picture of Gayle and I'm 100% in.

correct....the core of the trade is what, everyone under 22 years old? No brainer....duh they aren't winning right now with a few young guys..neither will the pels when they get them, but you are positioning yourself for a bright future with solid young talent.

Those piucks are all unprotected. 2023, Lebron is 39. 2025, AD is 31, Lebron is 41 and potentially retired. That team becomes so thin that an AD or Lebron injury could easily put them in the lottery in the West. In the offseason everyone expected our pick to be a late one this year too.

yeah I mean everything you do will be a gamble, but Kuz and Ingram have both shown signs up high upside...Lonzo as well, but we know it isn't coming here and we will likely flip him for other good young talent...

Say we pull off Josh Jackson and 1st rounder or something for Lonzo that would be

Lots to be had, I don't see why the Pels aren't making a deal so they can start the domino effect and begin moving other pieces...

Kuz has a bad hip that might be IT bad, and Ingram has one year before you have to pay the frick out of him.

If we trade for those Laker players, we would essentially be like the Lakers last year, who were absolutely terrible.

Want nothing to do with that Lakers offer. It is insulting.
