"if you compare his 2 games played on a new team with an entire new staff and while injured with his career stats while playing with 2 time DPOY you will clearly see Favors stats have regressed."

O I watched real games, and with Favors at C the Pels lost all of them.

Also what basketball knowledge do you have playing 2k in your mom's basement? I bet you couldn't even make it into a video game tournament or a pickup bball game.

in N.O. he has regressed to the stats prior to Gobert because he is playing out of the position he succeeds in

It's been 3 games. He has looked slow, because he's been playing injured. That certainly had an effect. He also has looked lost which is understandable adjusting to a new system that operates at a much different pace.

You think you've identified the problem, but it's just too soon to even say that there is a problem because growing pains were expected and have been exacerbated by injuries. I also think Favors will look much different with Zion next to him taking up a lot of attention from opposing teams.

Did you bother to look at Favors’ stats while he was with Utah, but played center (while Gobert was on the bench), or did you just assume he played 100% of his minutes at PF while with Utah because Gobert was on the team?

It’s funny that people assume things on here because they have no idea who they are talking to.

The distinction between C and PF is almost non-existant these days, but seriously, Favors played a ton of Center in Utah.

so much in fact that I think the last two of his years there, basketball reference lists him at Center, not PF.

Basketball Referene has a "Z" for Zion's position.

Derrick Favors played 1,230 minutes with no other centers on the floor this season. In those minutes, he averaged 17.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and one steal per 36 minutes, while shooting 59.4 percent from the field

This took all of 2 minutes to find. This is from the 17-18 season.

ETA: to do the math for you, he played 16 minutes per game that season at center.

It’s ok, either the Pels move him to PF or dump him. Either way, at least when it happens I can look back at this thread and see how wrong all of you are.

But can he do that on 2K!!!

So you should put your fingers over your ears and said, "la la la la la" when facts that were posted didn't suit your argument?

Nice!

There were no facts posted, just opinions on what I said.

Btw, it says per 36 minutes, those are adjusted stats not actually what he played.

Per 36 minutes, adjusted stats.

So, you want to compare counting stats from a season where he averaged 32 minutes per game, with a 3 game sample size where he played 20 minutes per game without making an adjustment for production per minute?

You are literally too stupid to insult.

He could be a David West role for the Pels, but you guys just keep insulting me. It’s ok.....
