We would have to win 45 games to get in the play in.. We currently have won 4 games. Why ruin the tank job? Even the players know the season is over.

Griff and company trying to save their jobs and a dimwit of an owner who doesn’t think big picture and only money. Bad combo

Have to at Least show they are healthy before they are traded

Yes you are right.. Griff doesn't wanna look bad...too late for that. Amazing that he doesn't talk to the media about the Zion situation and the losing syreak

Tanking isn’t “the big picture”. It’s chickenshit and diminishes the Association and the game.

quite literally the ONLY reason... yet, the actual mode that hurts the franchise, long term, the most...

quite the catch 22

If you are a fan of tanking...we only need to finish in bottom 4. Wizards will lock up the worst record fairly early in the season...but the bottom 3 basically have the same odds to "win" the lottery & 4th from bottom is pretty much the same odds as the other 3.

Probably end up with Wizards and Jazz at the bottom...with Pelicans around 3 or 4...which could be quite beneficial for the Pels. Given our roster situation and "flexibility" as far as "injuries" are concerned...I can't see the Pels straining too hard...to go on any kind of winning streak...especially on the road...where we are currently 1-11.

Is what it is...I'd just like to be competitive...especially AT HOME...for our fans. Then...maybe grab a really good player...in what should be a VERY strong draft this year. There is nothing worse...imo...than being in "noman's land"...just outside the playoffs & doomed to never getting a franchise player. It would probably be well worth the wait...long term.

Not going to happen unless there's another major injury, or the BI situation turns into him pouting on the sidelines (which it doesn't look like).

The team is too talented to tank. Like it or not, they are going to make a run at the Play-In.

We'll get fined if we don't.

Fans won't show up if we don't.

they have absolutely no shot at this given how far of a hole we are currently in ... we'd have to play FLAWLESS basketball, and as long as WG is HC, you will see flaws... lots of them actually...

but hey, may Flagg or Bailey will drop to around 11-12...

A lot of data says tanking is a high risk strategy with a low success rate.
