Zion only being a 2x All-Star because he's lazy and immature is completely different than Oden playing 105 games because of an injury out of his control.

For a top pick savior of the franchise and the piece to get the Pels on the map sure seems a bust. And that’s not counting the money spent per win.
To say that after his six years on the team it is worse off now than then is not a bust seems incongruent.

Anthony Bennett was jsut such a non factor he doesn’t get talked about as the worst bust of all time
I think even at the time no one thought he was worth anything and he got traded for love so it’s not like the cavs suffered.

Zion was a massive disappointment for us, given all the hype, but he’s not an all-time bust as a #1 overall pick.
Some notables:
Anthony Bennett- started 4 games in his career and was out of the league after 4 seasons.
Markelle Fultz- role player, never averaged more than 14 PPG.l, no all star years
Kwame Brown- role player, no all-star years
Michael Olowokandi- role player, no all-star years
Joe Smith- role player for most of his career. Averaged over 18 PPG one season.
There’s a very high rate of busts in top 5 picks in the NBA because they’re mostly picked off of their potential ceiling.
