Turner is a stretch rim protector, that's exactly what you need with guys like Zion and Ingram.

I don't like all the rumors of stinginess I'm hearing from the Boston side of things.

Ingram/Turner/Picks > Tatum/Filler/Picks

Is that really a concern for us at this point? Do we care about space this year?

I think Griffin would MUCH prefer more assets than space.

I would much prefer assets, than space. I don't really know who would the Pels really want that they could possibly land, outside of maybe a Brogdon.

Mac's suggestion

ETA: Seems steep to me to move up 4 spots but I'd take that for sure.

New York isn’t offering us #3 and talent, so you know they wouldn’t have offered #1.

NY not offering #3 is bullshite, they just aren't and never were really in the running unless they acquired better assets.

We’re basically getting lowballed by the Lakers because they know that RP and Davis are trying to force their way there.

LA is offering everything they can, we're just meh on the offer.

This is Solos LAST year. Why would you move down in the draft to dump one year of salary?

MM has talked about using the space to get the solid vets Griffin wants. But all I see is a ton of Max salary slots and hardly any Max players on the move meaning too much cash chasing too little talent. I think quite a bit of the FA market this summer is going to get Mozgoved. I would not be wanting to lock down long term steady vet help in that environment.

If by doing so, you could create enough space to sign someone like Brogdon, does that have no value?

Yeah I have grave concerns that this year's FA will be shades of the cap explosion year.

So:

NOP: Ingram/Ball/Kuzma/8/17/Nets 1st

ATL: 4/Solo/Hart

LAL: Asset #1

Do you not see that the #4 is a secured asset while landing a big free agent is not guaranteed? Why do you think Griffin is trying to get an All Star caliber player in a trade using #4?

Where does this logic comes from thinking that creating cap space is the answers everything? The Lakers, Knicks, Nets, and Mavs have been doing it for years and it has gotten them nowhere.

Yes, or his suggestion is let them keep Kuzma in exchange for more future picks. LAL 20,22,24 1sts.

And I would do that as well.

Who would we target in free agency if we go after Turner? Maybe Rubio would be good fit with that lineup.

Rubio, Jrue, Ingram, Zion, Turner

He then says to take Goga and Okeke with those picks. That is awful value for those picks.

So:

NOP: Ingram/Ball/8/17/Nets20/LAL20/LAL22/LAL24

ATL: 4/Solo/Hart

LAL: AD

That's a take. IMO.

Yes, and I know that costs cash and cap space. A trade like detailed above could open up probably $30-$35 million in cap space if they renounce their FAs.
