AD has a fantastic pass for a clear look to Boogie who misses an easy bucket

Turning point of the game for sure. We were sitting right by the basket, and I even screamed “Yes!” when he went up for what looked like an easy put in. All downhill from there.
Not that it should have come down to the last second, but that Buddy 3 to tie was pretty damn clutch. Got to give it to him.

Trying to blame Jameer Nelson and Gentry for Cousins lacking hustle

The last 2 min and OT were just awful fricking basketball. This falls on Gentry. I think I counted 4 straight sets that went like this:

1-Boogie pulls up a 3 (1 pass)
2-Jrue pulls up jumper after dribbling out the shot clock (0 passes)
3-Jrue pulls up 3 (0 passes)
4-Boogie pulls up a 3(1 pass)

Only 1 of those shots were made and the others resulted in a Defensive rebound

How in Gods name does a team with a top 10 player being guarded by a 40 year old SF not be the focus of every set with the game on the line, or at least be involved to pull defenders??!!!

What exactly does Gentry do??????

I really don't understand why Gentry does not ride support players who are having good games. Clark was playing with a lot of energy and was finally making his shot, he should have been in in the 4th instead of Nelson

Crazy how much of a drop off the decision make falls when Rondo is not playing. Next time he needs a rest we should set it up that he rest all but the last 5 mins if the 4tg qrt

How does a team with two of the best big men in the NBA get out rebounded by 2017 ZBo and V. Carter?! What the literal hell? Cousins putting the ball on the floor and acting like he’s Michael Jordan. Just back him down, run down the clock and take the layup to end the game!

Didnt get to watch the game and wasn’t even able to check the score. I knew no Rondo could be a problem, but with AD playing at home I figured we would be okay to pull it out in the end.

Finally checked the score this morning and saw we lost at home in OT to the Kings with ZBo dominating. That is a gut punch. Nelson has been great in terms of leadership and I thought a reserve big was our biggest need, but considering how bad we are without Rondo, it might be time to try and find another true point guard (pass first) to backup Rondo.

I know this is a very difficult concept for you to grasp, but it is possible for athletes to be playing well at times and poorly at times. Cousins’ has been really poor for us since Rondo’s return. I’ve had very little nice to say about him recently. Some of us actually discuss the games and the performances instead of harping on a singular stat and trying your best to fake like you took any effort to actually watch the game.

Nelson isn’t the best backup PG, but he’s not terrible. Miller has managed to continue his hot play next to Nelson, and Jameer doesn’t cough if up much. He’s also forced to play next to Tony Allen and Ian Clark, the two largest waste of spaces on our team.

I do not have a problem with Jameer per se. He is a good vet backup when he is playing as a backup, but the offense consistently stagnates when Nelson runs the first team. As someone else said, if we aren't going to play defense anyways, it would be nice to find another Ish Smith type player who maybe has a questionable shot, but can keep the offense flowing if forced to spot start.

We blamed Monty for this, we blamed Jrue for this, we blame Gentry for this, we blame everyone but the one that deserves the blame.

It's AD's fault. You want to be the best player in the league, or one of the best players in the league, tell your idiot teammates to give you the damn ball, and if they don't, throw one of your stupid arse hissy fits that you've been doing so often this year at the refs.

The fact that he so often doesn't demand the ball, or get upset that he isn't getting the ball down the stretch tells me either his teammates don't think he deserves it, or he just simply doesn't have the drive to win like other true best players in the league. This he's still young excuse doesn't fly anymore.
