2:30 left. 8 point lead.

AD has a fantastic pass for a clear look to Boogie who misses an easy bucket. Pels think it’s over and relax.

About 45-60 seconds later it’s a 1 point game and then overtime.

Yeah...

Ok. This thread is about the end of the game. It’s ok for you not to read. Go crawl back under your rock.

This is the type of game that is the reason why Gentry should not be an NBA head coach.

I blame Cousins for this loss, but AD or Gentry should have seen the same thing we saw and stopped it before it fell apart. Cousins ran out of gas and was playing stupid and lazy at the end. AD finally found his jumper and got the Pels their last lead. I really wanted them to bench Cousins at the end but I know you can't do that. The next best thing would be to run plays for AD and get the ball out of Boogie's hand.

Vince fricking Carter was defending Davis and they didn’t even look to go to him. Clark should have been in the game instead of Nelson too. Gentry is fricking terrible.

Ridiculous

And 36 year old ZBo who looks to be about 3 Bills now dropped 35 fricking points

Are you serious?

He played 41 minutes and had 38 points on a solid percentage. Some of y’all just really hate Cousins.

Jrue wasn’t aggressive and only had 14 points when Davis is suppose to be coming back off of injury. Nelson was 1-7. The two had horrible nights as they are the primary PGs on the team without Rondo. Gentry was also trash because it ultimately falls on him for letting his team play stagnant and get outhustled.

Yes I’m serious. The lead evaporated because he forced things he shouldn’t have forced. They should have gone back to AD. Turnarounds over Vince are better than looking for fouls when the refs are swallowing their whistles. And that quick 3 that he only took because ZBo just hit one, that was a terrible shot and I'm not at all surprised it missed

It’s boogie’s style. And it’s why he’s not a winner. I love his offensive game. But he’s just not a winner. And it really sucks.

Then lets trade Cousins for Peanuts and let Davis go in free agency. Then maybe some of y’all will be happy. Some of y’all only complain about one of the two best players on our team that actually makes us competitive. I am sure if Cousins came out and played like he didn’t care like the rest of the team did tonight we would have won. Give me a break.

So he struggled at the end but had 38 points and 11 boards that kept us in the game. Y’all can’t truly blame him with the effort and execution some of the others had.

Yeah, that was the point I was trying to make.

Cousins has some glaring flaws. Flaws which you choose to constantly ignore for some reason. But those flaws are very much real and sadly are kind of predictable. I knew those layup attempts at the end weren't going to go in because he was looking for the foul more than he was looking for the basket. We've seen this time and again with Cousins. That doesn't mean I don't want him on the team, but when you can see Bad Boogie is on the floor, don't let him be the one running the offense. I'm not asking for him to be traded, I was asking for them to get the ball to AD in the post instead.

I feel I'm pretty even handed with Boogie. But with Rondo out they needed Good Boogie, especially down the stretch, and he didn't show up. Why shouldn't he get blamed for that?

I'm not saying his teammates didn't suck too, but they are finishers and role players and without Rondo it falls on Boogie to make them useful. Is that an unfair ask? Maybe, but it is what's being asked of him and he didn't even try to deliver. On those plays at the end he wasn't looking for anyone else. It was quick 3 and then let me see if I can get a foul. He needs to do better. Leading the team to victory for the first 45 minutes doesn't count for much if you lead them to defeat in the last 3.

Cousins doesn't know when to play within the offense and when to attack. His decision making is spotty at best.

Tonight he took bad shot after bad shot. And he turned the ball over way too much. Did our guys missing all those threes hurt and cause boogie to think he had to do it himself? Absolutely, but when you deviate from the things that bring you success historically you fail to establish a true identity.

It's why the warriors win. If it's not working their isn't one player on that team that thinks it's time for them to take the game over. They stay within their offense and that's why they have titles.

Boogie needs to wake the frick up and realize this.

How about Nelson coming down and shooting up quick 3s. He went 1-7.

Jrue should have dominated, but he played passive. I think I blame his hair. I wonder what his game splits are with his different hairstyles.

I was most dissapointed in the guard play and Gentry’s leadership and coaching.

I honestly use to think Colonel Flagg was a troll account. He posts some dumb shite and it's always so authoritative.
