What are they doing with Songalia if this is true.

Around the draft and early free agency other hornettards seemed to think the Timberwolves would be interested and they are a little thin up front. Songaila for Telfair? Get your backup PG and take $2 million off the payroll.

Although there's really no hurry to trade Songaila. As long as you move him by the deadline you won't have to worry about the tax if Amundson and a backup PG push us over. Maybe you keep him around for depth. If West goes down you'd have to start either the non scoring Amundson or a rookie that probably isn't ready.

Warriors now in the lead for Amundson?

quote:

The Golden State Warriors still have some $2.4 million remaining on their Mid-Level exception and have not touched their $1.9 million bi-annual exception, making them the front runners for Amundson's services.

That is very peculiar reasoning since the Hornets have the full MLE and BAE. Steve Kyler normally does pretty reasoned analysis and is an admitted Hornets fan so if there was any bias at play it wouldn't be for the Warriors. I have to think he's heard rumblings in the Warriors favor just nothing solid enough to let him state it directly.

They clearly see something in him that I don't.

What would happen if the Hornets traded for Melo? Would HR's server turn into an atomic bomb and wipe out a few thousand lives all at once?

Actually, he's a high energy guy with some athletic ability. Not sure how much money he's really worth, but I would say he's a decent pick up. Not a star but he can contribute.

I think so. Hopefully we wouldn't feel the effects as well.

No all of the jizz would smother any possible explosion.

In cases like this, I'd usually say that a player will benefit from playing with CP, and he will, but Amundson has already played with arguably the next best PG in the league. Hopefully he can just add height and defense to our bench, I can't complain with that.

HR is still down. I don't have much history with the site but they do seem to curiously go down every time there is Hornets news. Why would sketchy Amundson rumors in the middle of the day bring enough traffic to crush the server? Does HH's deal with the devil involve going black at the appropriate times?

They have been trying to change hosts. They claim its not a server issue but a host issue, and they are in the process of finding a new one. At least that's what they said the last time they crashed.

It still seems to come often at seemingly convenient times. Maybe the Hornets are launching DoS attacks on them

I guess this means we're still in the lead? So much activity over a 10th man
