We should keep an eye on this. Tyreke to the Pacers makes Corey Joseph for Ajinca a win win trade.

Good. He doesn't fit w/ the Pels. He's a good player, no doubt. But my memory of his time here was of him dribbling the ball at the top of the key as the shot clock ticked down, then driving to the hoop and putting up some off-balance shot. No thanks. The Pels NEED A WING PLAYER (SMALL FORWARD TYPE) WHO CAN SHOOT. Niko fits that bill to some extent but they need another shooter. Holiday and AD are obviously great players but not killer 3-pt shooters like Curry and Durant. The Pelicans need a SHOOTER. The acquisitions of Payton and Randle make sense -- young, uptempo guys that fit the scheme. They are pieces of the puzzle. There are a few pieces to add.

BTW I don't like the optics of the Cousins' deal but truth be told, we all know they played better after he got hurt. True, Rondo had a good bit to do w/ that and he's gone too... but he's not getting any younger.

Thought I read yesterday that he had agreed with the Pacers. Was that premature?
