Gentry: "Unless something bizarre happens," expecting Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole to play tomorrow.

Norris Cole says he felt good practicing today. He'll see how his ankle feels tomorrow. If it's good, he expects to play.

Curious to see the rotations. I would make sure that one of Jrue or Gordon were on the court all the time. Maybe bring EG off the bench. I don't like the spacing of a Reke/Cole or Reke/Ish backcourt.

Tyreke-Gee-Asik is the new unholy trinity.

Great news, even if they are limited in minutes they'll shore up the back court. Then we'll only be waiting on Quincy.

Ish-Tyreke-Gee-Cunningham-Asik

ETA: Cole actually shot pretty well from 3 for the Pels last season. 38% on 2.6 attempts.

1st unit should be:

Holiday-Gordon-Evans-AD-Asik

When QPON returns, it will change up the 2/3 rotation.

When Qpon returns and Jrue is off his restriction Gordon should come off the bench.

Tyreke-Jrue-Qpon-Davis-Asik

Excellent. Any intel on whether either will be on a minutes restriction?

I wouldn't think that an ankle sprain would be on a minutes restriction, but Tyreke may be because he's coming off of a surgery.

Holiday should be the 6th man. No one knows if he will ever be off a minutes restriction at this point. Plus, his 2 way skill set is more helpful on the 2nd unit. He's been fairly poor so far (I've been most disappointed by his defense), maybe try to let him run v 2s. On a minutes restriction, I think he'd actually be better served coming off the bench.

I'd start Evans/Gordon/Q/Davis/Asik (I'd probably roll w/ Ajinca at this point). Sub in Holiday and Anderson around the 4 minute mark.

Lots of ways to go from there. Can lean on Holiday/Anderson to help anchor bench units. The interior defense will be bad, but, right now, there is no one on the roster to help fix that if Davis is on the bench.
