Clippers GM Michael Winger chosen instead. The story makes it pretty clear that Trajan was the runner-up.

Glad to keep him. Probably still get other looks I’d imagine.

And certainly seems like he’s on his way out.

I mean, it's always been clear that Trajan wanted to run a team, if it was a good situation for him. We were never expecting to keep him forever.

Exactly, I’d rather have someone that other teams are interested in.

I’d rather have a structure that allowed the GM to do GMing things

Trajan has run the draft for us and manages scouting. We have done exceptionally well in the draft in the past few years.

Need to can the piano man. Griff's rush to save himself will never be more than a playoff team under Griff.

Jeez man did Trajan Langdon touch in the no no spot?

All kidding aside, can you explain why you don’t like him? I’m not trying to give you a hard time, just curious.

I think if there's one thing Langdon has not delivered on is his supposedly expertise on foreign prospects. He hasn't brought in anyone that panned out. Even if Matkovic ends up being a quality player, he's wasn't noticed until the combine and the stateside workouts.

I never said I didn’t like him. I’m content with him being here. I just also wouldn’t be upset if he left. I’m just at the point with this franchise where I’d embrace any type of change

I think to say he’s been great at drafting is definitely not true tho. Outside of one year I’m not exactly impressed

Why do you believe Langdon isn`t giving Griff the right
info on the Euros.Griff is the GM ,hemakes the decisions.
If I owned the Pels TL would be GM not Griff.

In name only. Griff calls all the shots and everyone knows that.

Griff is the President Of Basketball Operations. Having a POBO does not make Trajan not a GM.

The actual division of labor and who does what is often hard to determine from the outside. Trajan and his assistant Bryson Graham are the ones usually credited with running the scouting and player evaluation.

Griff may have veto power, but it sounds like a fairly collaborative process, so it's not like they're giving Griff scouting reports and then Griff decides who to go after on his own.
