JJ was praising the Nets and apparently is close with Nash and Sean Marks. Obviously lives in BKN. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t a Net next year

It just makes too much sense.

I imagine the Nets primary goal will be to get Holiday though.

But them getting JJ is just a "duh". Just depends on what kind of value they are willing to part with.

See I think we will use that tho. JJ going back there may have been inevitable. I hope our FO tries to put up a good face value for him and then if they ask about Jrue lay out every demand. Offer JJ and if they ask for Jrue take the house.

I would love a JJ for Joe Harris S&T. Especially if paired with a separate Jrue to Brooklyn trade.

Or maybe not. I just looked at Harris' stats, and he's a surprisingly bad FT shooter.

I actually liked him very similar to Josh Hart before we got Josh. Now its just not even close. Just think him or Prince would be less of an assets or future role player compared to Dinwiddie, LaVert, or Musa for cheap.

All of those things (minus Nash) were true last summer and he still signed in NOLA.

You would be hesitant to trade for Joe Harris because he shot 72% from the line (on 1.3 attempts)?

If the money was equal he wouldn't have IMO. I don't think he's forcing his way out or anything, maybe just politely leaving some breadcrumbs since he's an older expiring guy who could get traded anyway. His wife wanted him to go to the Nets when he signed with Philly so it makes sense.

He thought he was coming to a playoff team and wanted to play with Jrue. Things change

And the nets committed like $350M last summer, I doubt they were thinking of JJ Redick. The coach is also a pretty big deal if you listen to JJ’s pod. He goes back years with Nash

They need a shooter in the worst way
Paul George was one of their main 3 point shooters and he shouldn't be taking that many a game.
I love Beverly but I want to get a different point if we are trading reddick

The same Lou Will who shot like 15% from 3 in the playoffs?

Lou wouldn't be a bad fit for his contract. I hope they aquire about JJ first. Lou might need the ball in his hand a little more than JJ. Both make more sense than trading for PG...

Lou Will is a below average three point shooter and JJ is arguably the best in the league when you factor in difficulty of shots.

They’re not in the same stratosphere as one another in terms of shooting.

Well the things that matter here are money and effectiveness too. For some reason Lou plays really well under pressure and in the playoffs, which is a + to teams like Brooklyn.

100% JJ is a better shooter mainly because he can hit anywhere compared to Lou hitting in most places but needing to dribble for space.

He made some nice shots down the stretch in a few games. But yeah I'm not really sure what took over any of their mindsets to close the series. He definitely is worth his contract at 8 mil. And I think he could do a little more on a another team with a better pg. He does also assist and rebound at a higher clip than JJ which can be important depending on roster. Still would take JJ if you are looking for strictly a shooter of course.

Lou Will gets hot but he's slightly better than Lonzo level 3 pt shooter for his career and he's never shot as well as Lonzo shot this year. He's not in the same universe as a 3pt shooter as JJ.

He's a pretty good 3 point shooter and fantastic scorer. He definitely opens it up for others.
