The AD name is now reserved for Antonio Daniels--ambassador of our fanbase and the best color commentator in the NBA.

We address that bitch as Toni, Tony, Street Clothes, Day to Davis, Lebron's butt buddy, or gAyD. Other derogatory names inferring his fragility or homosexuality are always welcome but we won't call him AD anymore.

I'm loving how Lakers fans and the national media is finding out just how stupid he is. He could get away with it here but being in a big market has really shined the spot light on how clueless this guy is.

I prefer Street-Clothes Toni Davis, soon to be Scrub Toni Davis, or STD for short.

I fixed it. Happy now? Anyway how about talking about the actual topic. Imagine getting paid 40 mil and not taking a jump shot while the season is still going. Makes sense that his free throw percentage is the lowest it’s ever been and his 3 pointers dropped too. Stung when it happened but we are lucky he left

lakers blogger carrying klutch's water

So what if he hasn’t shot a basketball for two months? The offseason isn’t even halfway over. He has plenty of time to get in the gym. Plus, in reality, AD only said the quiet part loud. Basketball isn’t a 365-day job for anyone in the league. And even if some players act like it is, that doesn’t mean AD or others should be held to that standard. So let AD enjoy his offseason and admire him for his elite work-life balance that we should all strive for.

Edited and fixed, it's good we respect Toni's preferred gendered spelling

Tell that to basically our entire team that has been in the practice gym almost daily.

Which is why the Pels have probably passed the Lakers in the AD/Bron era for good.

I remember saying shite about how dumb he sounded his rookie year and people PILED on me and some even accused me of being racist.

No he's just not intelligent and it's clear in how he speaks. Just a bad luck of the genetic draw. Nothing wrong with it.

that same writer would defend harden and zion being out of shape to start the year.

you aren't practicing 365, but i expect you to practice at least once a week...

One guy at RealGM made a comment about AD getting a ring and going into semi-retirement.

AD’s been in semi-retirement since he got into the league.

Guys like KD would actually take to Twitter and go play random pick up games all off season just cause they loved to hoop.

AD doesn't seem to have that passion, which is fine, but it probably explains why he has not managed to reach the upper bounds of the potential people saw in him coming into the league.

You dont have to breathe basketball 24/7, even diehards like Kobe had a lot of off-season hobbies, but I cant really think of many greats that just turned it off for months like AD is rumored to do

Im fine with the idea that these guys don’t need to be in the gym 24/7/365, but I feel like if I shot 18% from 3 last year and 26% the year before, I wouldn’t go two months without getting a shot up. But hey that’s just me
