"Gerald Madkins, our Vice President of Player Personnel, comes to the Hornets from the Houston Rockets where for the last two seasons served as the Director of Scouting."

Ariza & Landry played some the 2009-10 season together in Houston too. They all should be very familiar with each other's game.
GOOD shite!

Damn sad to see MT5 go but at least Landry is a really good asset in return.

Eh. We'll just have to see then.

Anyway. I'll miss Thornton, but Carl Landry is a player that always gave the Hornets fits. I'm glad we have him.

Everyone thinks we need a scoring threat off the bench, but why does it had to be a 2. I would look at your options at the 3, as well. Maybe even before looking for a 2.

because 2s typically can create their own shot

if a 4/5 can do this, he's almost assuredly a starter

landry provides some pop, and i think he's west's replacement at the 4 (similar jump shooting, undersized 4)

Indeed. Landry is good for 12ppg from the 4 off the bench.

THAT is somewhat interesting. he's a chip for sure, but i don't know if we could get anything for him unless they've been trying to deal him previously

I'd like to re-sign him but if he really wanted 12 mil or whatever, I'd rather trade him.

There is nothing shitty about this trade, but I still hope you are done with the Hornets.

lmao, Marcus Thornton lover I suppose?

That's the only way someone can possibly say that's a shitty trade. This was a straight steal for the Hornets.
