I enjoy watching most of the players on the team aside from this kid. My 2cents is that he'll never develop into anything worth a frick. We are signing D leaguers off the street that look like they have more promise than Aminu.

I disagree about the 2nd part... right now he is tough to watch but he shoots 86% from the FT line which proves he can at least shoot the ball decently. Also rebounds really well and isn't limited what so ever athletically. Despite looking extremely lost at times, the kid doesn't make a ton of negative plays. Most of his turnovers come when he is trying to push the ball after a rebound or is headed to the rim and help comes.

Honestly, he lacks confidence badly. If the staff sticks with him and takes time to work with him this off-season, he'll develop into a nice back-up next year and who knows what in the future.

Yeah, I actually think Aminu is developing. He's a very young player who is learning the game.

And anyone who compares him to Juju is out of their damn mind or have forgotten all but bits and pieces of the Juju experience.

He's disruptive on defense and rebounds well. That makes up for his spazziness on offense IMO. Turn his bad shooting into good shooting, which I think he has the ability to do, and he becomes a net positive instead of a net negative. He still may not ever become a starter, but I think the team has a pretty good cast of role players, now they just need to get some stars.

Negative chief. My stupidity is not stupidity if it's on target.

Replace Hornetard Replies with "Positive topics that actually lead to discussion and threads that people actually want to read" and sure.

JayJay is right, Damn this is a stupid post.

By Hornetard, he means the rantards/himself that come onto here to talk about thornton or have no idea about the hornets and try to start inane threads...such as this one.

He just has awful "basketball awareness". Hard to describe but you just know it when you see it.

Examples: The ability to know how to move w/o the ball, the ability space yourself on the court, the ability to use your size and speed to your advantage and not be out of control.

These are qualities kids learn growing up playing BBall. Aminu got by and excelled bc he was physically superior to everyone else. That is no longer the case.

Aww chad found a friend. His intelligently sounding posts are a better read than your incoherent angry banter. You are usually better.
