I think Scoot is a once every 10 year talent, and would be a better guard prospect than Morant, Cunningham, Edwards, and Young. Maybe Doncic is a better prospect but not by much.

He may be better than those(but Cade and Edwards)…
You trade Anthony Davis and you keep Jrue Holiday.

The Heat learned winning before they won. So did the Spurs. Keeping Ingram is much much better for organizational health.

And he’s still got room to grow. He was insanely good as a playmaker. He’s 26.

The core two is still the best option presented to the Pels at moment that we know of.

In short I’d rather Zion than Scoot. And I wouldn’t trade the guy that is the leader to a bunch a guys who are gym rats like Herb and Trey. There’s no guarantee Zion won’t be problem if Brandon is gone. And Zion isn’t letting Scott come in here and run shite.

Zion clearly is a child. I’m not pairing him with a child.

Kinda like Ingram with every team he’s been on. But I know some of you get a hard on for winning 2 games against the suns

Good thing our All Star starting power forward is 4 years in and has missed all postseason games we’ve had.

You guys get hard for December standings

BI can’t stay healthy either. Gambling on both of these guys staying healthy enough for us to do something is just as big if a gamble as getting scoot. At least scoot is cheaper and give us more flexible down the line

he’s more like a big brother than a leader. Why do you think Griff has been constantly trying to get actual locker room leaders on this team. From Adams to Jj to temple, Cj and nance. Neither BI or Zion or those guys in the locker room telling their teammates to lock-in. Supposedly Zion has tried but no one’s listening to him. Dude can’t even play.

Yeah, the other guy is like a 13 year old. He’s on Team USA for Christ sake. He might lead us to gold.

As far as BIs health, yes, of course. He’s played a lot more for us. He’s also a top 30 player just entering his prime.

You don’t run a team by firing the guy who does everything right and keeping the one who does everything wrong.

Wow @ thinking Sabonis is above Ja.

And you mean the Fox who was in the center of trade discussions just last season because his game had tanked the 2 years prior to this past season. And don't get me wrong, I like Fox. But Ja is on a different level.

As of right now, his midrange. His 3ptr needs a lot of work.

oh for sure that’s why I think he can get there tho. Midrange is good, free throw is good. The kid wants to be great. Has no ego. Asks guys like Steph to help him improve from that range and workouts with him and Steph’s trainers. If we even do this trade I know some of y’all might be unsure about it but the kid is incredibly easy to root for.

And this is why Ingram has to go and a clear message sent that Zion is THE guy on this team.

I think it would motivate Zion more to work more, and it would also have the teammates working with him more. Let’s not forget when Willie was hired Zion went to him asking him to let him organize offseason workouts and team activities, but then he broke his foot. He wants that leader of the team role, we have to give it to him.

Nope. Zion watched as the Pels made the playoffs and won 2 games without him. He cried when they lost, like the rest of the team. The vibes were good. He came back and got the team back, did the 360 because "those guy made my teammates cry" or something. Then, he "doesn't feel like Zion" and won't come back for the play-in. Gets criticized by CJ...smoke every season about if he even wants to be in NOLA....Then constantly misses games. I'm kinda tired of this shite. If they don't trade him, I'll pull for him with all I have. But if they do, I won't be crying about it.

Hmmmm, eerily similar to what the “leader” of the team did in December when he was cleared by the medical staff and sat out an additional 3 weeks huh? For the record, Zion was never cleared per David Griffin.

He’s the only one of the two stars that lives in NOLA full time, you may question it because the national media keeps pushing it, but if a player doesn’t want to be somewhere he sure as hell won’t live there.

SVG had him playing night in and night out. This is on the coaching staff to wake up and realize you need to push him hard, he loves it and wants it. Our coaching staff is to soft

Sabonis is a better playmaker, for starters.

Fox is similar to Morant, but a little headier player and a better shooter.

There’s no way you trade Zion or BI. You just don’t. Not yet.

This is fair, but I didn't say BI was the leader. But his actions thus far, tell a different story than Zion's.

I honestly don't care where he lives. Dude can live anywhere, just be with the Pels when you are here. He comes off, like JJ said, not all in at times.

Its year 5. This shouldn't be a questions. The coaching staff can't make him want it, he has to go take it.

He wants it, but as Coach K and SVG said, to get Zion going he has to play basketball. Working out doesn’t do anything for him, he adds to much muscle. Holding 45 minute practices won’t accomplish what he needs, Stan ran 3 hour practices. THAT’S what he needs.

I'm not going to pretend to know what a team/player needs from a coach's perspective. Or how to run a team at any level. But I can tell you as a fan, its frustrating to see something so great in Nov/Dec, just fall apart leading to not making the playoffs. I know everyone here is too.

What's good for Zion may not be what's good for other guys on the team. The staff needs to find that balance.

There is just something about Zion that doesn't sit right with me, but I'm a message board guy, so whatever.
