Am I the only person that thinks its more likely for Noel to fall to 6 than Porter?

It just all depends on Washington. If Noel is there, who do they pick? Noel or Porter?

If I had to bet, I'd say Porter.

Noel won't get past Charlotte. They are in need of a big man and Noel will provide too much value.

Even with all of his question marks, I can't see Noel sliding out of the top 5. A team like Washington or Charlotte, who know they aren't contending this year, can afford to draft him and take their time with him.

I think Porter would be the only pick that everyone would be really happy about. He's #1 on my board.

#2 is Shabazz but I know that's a lost cause lol

I love the idea of getting Porter at 6, but if we do the shawn marion trade who do we trade for him?

No one.

Dallas would be paying us with the 13th pick to take him off their hands for nothing.

They want cap space to get Dwight or CP3...or both.

I brought that up last week. Now, listening to Ryen Russillo on Bill Simmons's podcast, supposedly he keeps blowing off agents, and he said that Washington won't pick him at 3.

By all means, please enlighten us all on who the pick should be.

I listened to that too and it was weird considering Noel had already signed a really respected agent. The same guy that represents Garnett

Well then lets to the trade and draft Porter and MCW with the 2 picks or Burke and Shabazz. Either combination will be very good for me.

If that is true and stay true during the draft, the players at 6 won't change. Both Porter and Noel should still be gone by 6. The only change is that Len and Noel swap place.

Unless trade, reaches, or crazy picks happens, we should still expect the same players to be available at 6.

In the present that's a terrible combo. But I personally don't see Biyombo as a long term solution for Charlotte.

They could always draft Noel and do the Biyombo for Ryno trade that Joe Gerrity was rallying for earlier in the season.

+1
Biyombo's awful. He'll be a journeyman, at best, in a few years.

I don't understand the Marion trade? What are we giving them?

Future second round pick or something else fairly worthless. They're giving us a pick to take on Marion's contract. They're trying to free up space to make a run at Howard.
