The whole NBA will say Butler is a superstar.

And yet he's got numbers similar to Zion and Ingram in the reg season

Superstars are created in the playoffs.

If Zion took another step in his game he would be a superstar but he hasn’t really improved at all since his first year.

Ding ding ding

Jimmy buckets in the playoffs is a superstar. In the reg season he's a top 25 player

Butler is statistically decidedly better than BI

Then factor in defense

Then factor in that Jimmy consistently proves he's a playoff gamer, it's not remotely close.

Jimmy Butler has 10 seasons with a better PER than BI's career best PER.

Butler has 5 seasons with a better TS% than BI's career best TS%

Expecting Dyson to play competent offense is wild as well. The dude is killing us.

Zion and BI are not even top 30 players this season. We’re like those hawks teams with Joe Johnson, Al horford and Kyle Korver. Lot of good players and we’re a good regular season team but we don’t have a chance in the playoffs cuz our best guys just aren’t that good

Yeah no.

They're both 21 5 5 guys

Ingram has a higher efg
Shoots more 3s and is only 1% lower than Jimmy

Jimmy is a better ft shooter and gets to the line so he has a higher ts% 58 to 60

Jimmy has a lower ast% than Ingram

Ingram even has a higher dws than Butler

Jimmy has him stomped in bpm but Ingram
Only has a slightly lower vorp by .1

Even you remember how everyone was blown away by the heat making the finals off the back of Jimmy BECAUSE he wasn't putting up superstar numbers during the reg season

Would you call Jimmy Butler a superstar? Heat were able to win the East twice with an inferior roster imo

Coaching and culture make a huge difference

Like Zion is a “scorer” , that’s an all he is good at. He’s had 1 40 point game. What great scorers in the league have only had 1 40 point game?

Coaching

One of the biggest reasons Jimmy is so good. Imagine Ingram with an actual good coach. Willie is the best coach Ingram has ever played for.

Jimmy Buckets literally put the Heat on his back to the Finals.

Brandon doesnt even know what the second round looks like. Anyone making the assinine take that BI > Buckets should be looked at as a simpleton.

You do realize they're going to lose games in an 82 game season right?

It all depends on how inconsistent our non-offensive layers are. That is Herb, Dyson Naji and Jose. All have to have a decent offensive game for us to be effective. We need more offensive power for every game. Time to trade Dyson, Naji or Herb for more offense.
