I wouldn’t be mad with the 4th worst record. I just don’t want 5th or better. Which might happen if we keep winning. Odds for 4th worst in the lotto are still pretty good

We have some cushion for a few wins down the stretch though.
we still have nets hornets and sixers with the mid level west teams similar to the clippers. That cushion is gonna deflate

Wrong guy, I hate everything about a tank. Non-competitive, bad basketball that more often than not doesn't pay off. There is a reason that the Hornets, Wizards, and Utah are perennial no bueno.

Guess it depends on the "tanker"...OKC seems to have worked out pretty well...and they SUDDENLY... won ONLY 22 and 24 games in back-to-back seasons not that long ago.

Done the right way...and coupled with wise decisions by the people in charge...a smart "tank" of a year or two...can be quite beneficial for the long term. OKC will probably revert back to being "just another small market team"...after their current "window" with their young talent, runs out.

THEN...I assume they will start another tanking session...and rebuild for another serious run. If you want to have a serious shot at a title...this is probably the best way to go...IF you are a small market team. Sad, but true.

For sure we'll see how this works for OKC but I'd say they are an outlier. Golden State has dominated this era with Denver, Bucks, Raptors, Lakers, an now Boston taking a turn here and there. No Wizards, Jazz, Hornets, Portland, 'master tankers' are near competitive. Pistons may be next OKC, but that's about it that I can think of.

What really bugs me is that you have Zion, TM3, CJ, and Jose out here losing games.

This should be giving everyone a dose of reality for next year.

I think this team is going to be terrible next year too even if he luck out and land Flagg.

I think we’re going to be in such a big hole record wise when Dejounte comes back that the season will be lost by then. That’s before we factor in that Dejounte may not be the same player after this injury

You just don't learn a lot when you're trying to lose. You find out if your young players are worth further development, but that's about it. You expect your core, when they hit the court, to be competitive. There have been games where individuals have popped, like. CJ 50 burger, and Zion when he feels like Zion. We've seen this before, but there aren't games where the team has been dominant, giving you optimism for the next season. Pels have been a lottery team since November, nothing was going to change that. Actively chasing better lotto odds with no foundation is a fools errand.

Yeah he looks well rounded. Should be a nice bench player.

I didn't realize banchero was in tonight. We should be able to lose this one then.

Karlo is twitchy with a good motor, he looks like has that Peja thing too, like he can get hot and hit 4-5 buckets in a row. All these guys need a serious summer in the weight room.

I knew he was going to be good but he’s really fricking good. Magic have a few nice pieces, especially just to compete in the East eventually.

That truly has been the one consistent thing this year. We have been atrocious defensively the entire year no matter what lineup we trot out there.
