Yeah, the team that had a healthy AD rim protecting couldn’t keep Zion below 40. Dinky talking out of his arse. He earned a lot of respect for being right about Herb but has had some trash takes since then.

I said we got .50 on the dollar for BI because that’s what we got. I didn’t say we shouldn’t have done it or there was a better trade out there.
I totally agree we probably did the best we could on the BI trade. All the other teams just felt his "value" was just pretty much crap...which I agree with. I also agree we should get better than 50 cents on the dollar for Zion. Doesn't take but one team to think Zion is a top 10 player in the league...for us to get a solid return for him.
Obviously, I'm not one of those that thinks Zion is an overall top 10 player...ESPECIALLY come playoff time...but IF any team thinks he is...we should do quite well trading him.

Wasn't this the game that, going into the game... the Lakers couldn't decide if they wanted to win or lose? I was on the side of..."they should lose on purpose"...and was proven to be correct...again.

The Lakers won the game.. and played AD and Lebron the whole game.. they played the game to win. The narrative that they couldn’t decide whether to win or lose is a figment of your imagination and ultimately meaningless.

Assuming you're being serious...you MUST know there were many NBA talking heads (and EVEN LeBron) who considered the best way for the Lakers to proceed. It was a close call....and I could see the argument for either side. Turns out fairly obviously that the Lakers SHOULD have thrown the game...and avoided the Nuggets. IIRC...The Lakers had lost 8 straight to the Nuggets....and beaten OKC 3 outta 4 that season.

Regardless of what you or any talking heads THINK they should have done. They played to win. And Zion dropped over 40. So I really don’t know what your point is.

OK...I just like a good discussion of what I thought was a very interesting "situation" for the Lakers back then. Appreciate the input.

I’m not disputing losing may have been good for them. The Nuggets own them. I think ultimately it does not matter though since they chose to play to win. So you can’t discount Z’s performance that game. Alls I’m saying.

I would trade my left nut to have Payton Pritchard as a New Orleans Pelican.

Good game tonight for Pels to measure their stock. A lot of competitiveness is lost in a tank season, but you still occasionally get games where you have teams wanting to improve seeding that want to take you out as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Tonight should be a royal arse kicking

Hou slotted with the Grizz at 4-5 game. Hopefully Pels can play well.

It’s hilarious seeing the beautifully lit up superdome and the absolute dim lit eyesore called the smoothie king center right next to it

What an idiotic challenge, regardless if you are 100% you’ll win.
You should never use a challenge when the score is 0-0. It couldn’t be any more insignificant.

I’m just going to hope someone punches Brooks tonight at some point.

I’ll always root for Brooks to get popped.
Damn Trey!

Sengun is a younger, less athletic, worse passing Olynyk

I got a bad feeling about this game

much better touch around the rim and he can shot block. I'd take sengun any day

Rockets announcers have been soft since the tip complaining about the challenge.
