4 of the 5 wins came against playoff teams. The biggest difference I'd say is the team got healthy enough to limit the minutes of the lesser players on the roster.

It is a small sample size, but if they've figured out how to play .500 without Zion, how good can they be when he returns?

Finally playing Hernangomez and sending NAW to the bench while putting Herb in the starting line up has really stabilized the rotation.

And save for that one point jazz win they've been beating the shite out of said playoff teams.

The new rotations are working out well.

I have been busy with finals, I have a couple day break... I didn't know we had 5 wins much less 5 in the last 10... can't wait for this week to be over and hopefully I have something to look forward to.

And we have the 5th-easiest remaining strength of schedule. The Lakers, by the way, have the 5th-toughest. It's interesting that 538's computer now gives us both a 23% chance of making the playoffs.

I’m probably getting unnecessarily over excited …

When it all clicks we look REALLY good. Add Zion into that mix and we could cause havoc on anyone.

Rotations are looking better, starting to show development, cohesiveness. I hope it’s not just a purple patch and we’ve actually turned the corner…with better to come soon

Back when we were approaching the start of the regular season, I was so optimistic, because I thought we had drafted a first-round stud in Trey Murphy, and I thought that we were going to see NAW, Kira, Jaxson, and Naji all take a big step forward. Remember when we were talking about NAW for MIP and Trey for ROY?

And the reasons for my optimism have fizzled and come to nothing, but we're winning games because Jonas unlocked another level and because of Herb Jones.

That's part of why I love the NBA. You never really know, do you?

To be fair, I think Trey will be a good player for us but just needs some time. Herb’s play shouldn’t make us question Trey.

I got downvoted to hell in the offseaosn for pointing out that it would be unwise to crown Trey before he's played a game because it is extremely rare for even the best rookies to be positive players year one.

And we are a team trying to win.

Turns out, Herb is one of those rare players(Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes being basically the only other two), but it shouldn't retroactively be used to stack on top of what were unrealistic expectations for Trey to begin with imo.

Trey clearly can shoot and I also think he would have benefited IF he was in the game with Zion.

Trey has NOT gotten to play with Zion YET.

I'm sure he would benefit, as would almost any player, but I don't think that is going to turn Trey into an Herb or Mobley like rookie impact player. Which is ok

Chris Duarte is pretty much playing like we all hoped Trey would, and so far he's a negative in pretty much every advanced statistical category still.

the NBA is just a huge leap for the vast majority of players to adjust for.

Desmond Bane was the same way. A productive rookie but didn't help winning statistically. It really makes what Herb is doing that much more amazing.

I agree. I am just saying Trey as a 10min guy with Zion running the 2nd unit this year.

I still think we are in to much of a hole, but at least this team is starting to be fun to watch.

The saddest part of this roster is how outside of Herb, our last 3 years of draft picks look like misses (NAW, Jax, Kira) or are currently unplayable (Trey).

who cares.
same as every year. we dig ourselves such a deep hole to start the season, then start playing well, still end up missing the playoffs and getting a pick in the teens instead of the top 5. and i'd be fine with all of that, if we'd go into the next season and not start 1-11.

When in the hell are we going to parlay the good play to end the season into the next season?

When our Superstar doesn't gain 50 pounds and break his foot during the offseason.

People looking for reasons to keep staying up late watching West Coast Pels games.

When we start the season with 9-10 healthy NBA rotation worthy players. It's crazy that not only did NAW/Hayes not take leaps, but Satoransky fell off a cliff. Just like Bledsoe, JJ, and Favors before him.
