One of 2 rookies to score 25 points twice this season. The other is Wemby.
NBA Record number of 3s through first 11 games? Something like that

Looks like we’ve done well here. Early signs are extremely positive.

How nice it to have an actual laser point sharpshooter, with confidence in his game, thrown in at the deep end and performing.

Constant movement, quick, shot ready… and a good rebounder too. Championship mentality. Baller.

Looking like a great pick.

He has been great. He has a real shot at ROTY.

Wembenyama had a horrible game last night and is streaky. He went up against Holmgren, who wasn't that great too..

And a never ending green light. Complete trust from coaches and teammates is huge too.

Wemby will win ROTY based off hype alone, but Hawk will be in the conversation.

Yeah, Wemby could finish the season with a 14/8/2 stat line in 65 games and Hawk could finish with a 19/4/3 in 75 games and they would still give it to Wemby simply bevause of his hype.

The only hope anyone has of winning it besides him would be if he doesn’t play the 65 games to be eligible.

Can never get my head around American gambling figures… he’s 150/1 for ROTY. I think that’s +15000 for you guys…

Gotta be worth a couple of quid!

I don't think he'll be in the conversation. We will get healthy and he will lose minutes. But he's done an amazing job during this stretch when we needed a player like him.

I think he'll break the rookie 3 point shots made though.

He’s not gonna lose minutes if he continues to play hard on defense.

You think he's going to get anywhere near 30 minutes when CJ, Trey, and Jose returns? Seriously?

There were definitely some doubters among our esteemed posters after the pick and during Summer League. We always need to see a player in reg season games
before reaching a conclusion.

No he doesn't. When Trey and CJ come back, he will lose playing time.

He absolutely will if we do not lose others to injuries. Adding CJ, Trey and Jose will reduce his minutes.

That's no fair. He's played great. Maybe if he starts to fade, I'd get it. But not now..

Whose minutes of those 3 are he taking? Show me how you get to enough minutes to be ROY (barring injuries of course).

He’ll get minutes he just wont get the same minutes. Right now Trey and CJ are better players. Him and Jose might fluctuate minutes depending on the situation and what is specifically needed for the game(pg play, energy/ shooting).

I think he's earned enough minutes that guys like CJ will probably play less, but it's not like Hawkins jumped CJ on the depth chart. He's played well but if Hawkins becomes CJ down the line, he will have been much better than most expected.

That's why this more than likely won't be an issue. We'll still be resting guys, even at full health..

To me the guy who’s minutes completely evaporate wheb those guys get back is Matt Ryan. I hope Griff gets him a roster spot because he’s absolutely deserved it. I could also see him with his shooting giving us spark later in the year as well.

Yeah, I would imagine he will get very limited minutes once everyone comes back. Hawk will still play, but not 30 minutes a game. Maybe more like 12-16 based on the situation.

I think J-Hawk (that’s what I like calling him) will lose some minutes when those guys get back, but he has to be in any rotation the way he’s playing.

Ryan will be a really interesting one to watch. I hope he gets a roster spot, even if it’s just for some shooting at the end of the bench,
