-when someone is cooking, you can count on the Dejounte Dashaun Murray to end that.
-Zion: 3 point shot looks solid. Often phased out or someone else takes the shots (see above). Need to be more active on the glass. Just rip the bandaid off and go point Zion
- Trey: many catch and shoot opportunities. Hesitant, Hesitant, Hesitant! 6 shots tonight/ same as Bagley
- Herb: low minutes ; stupid fouls
- Karlo: has been pretty solid, needs more minutes
-Queen: More good than bad. Better than expected on Defense. Same with Zion; would like to see a Queen Hub off the bench
-Bey: most consistent; a pros pro
- Missi: really good start before the injury.
-Fears: 50/50 some good, some bad. Ball stopper.
-Mathurin/Poole: meh. Poole playing better defense I guess. And I can’t tell the difference between what Mcgowins can give you and Mathurin.
Mosley: really sticking with his 5 game assessments with the lineups. Offensive sets unimaginative. You watch other teams and they’re sprinting into their sets while we just set a screen and just dribble.
Officiating: every single game in the beginning of the 4th, they call 2-3 ticky tack fouls on us that gets the other team in the bonus. Of course Zion still is officiated poorly.

Anything else?

They are who we thought they were.

Year 8 for Zion. Year 6 for Herb and Trey. Those three have essentially been the pieces we have tried to build around for half a decade now and we have had next to zero tangible success. It's time to blow this core up. Get what you can for anyone on the roster who has value outside of Fears, Queen, and Missi and lets rebuild.

This team may actually be worse than the low bar I set for them

I'm kind of rooting for Year 8, raining 3's Zion, to lead us to 8-74.

The Pelicans might be the worst team in the Men’s NBA at closing out games or they may be the worst team period.

Too many guys in the rotation. I wouldn’t play Poole at all.

Agreed. Was at the game and I’m so confused how Trey became so passive. We desperate need a floor general, it seems like sometimes the none of the guys want the ball at times. The lazy passes are what killed us today. Murray had an easy fastbreak and decided to do a no look pass for a turnover. Wild.

We will look a lot better when most of the league stops trying to win regular season games. Just need to give it some time.

You know how in football when they say if you have a two QB system you have no QB?

That’s about the same here. We have too many guys in the rotation because we don’t have 7 that are good.
