Agree he’s the best player on the court. This is a particularly weak summer league game. I’m not sure anyone else on either team besides dyson really figures to get significant minutes this year. Hawkins I assume will be a strictly garbage time player for the Pels most of the season with maybe a stint in the g league.
And even dyson has to be minimally competent scoring the ball to feature in a healthy Pels rotation.

Hawk is definitely in an adjustment period right now, but I will admit nothing we have seen from him jumps out yet through 3 games

The difference is dyson can do things like defend, pass and rebound which Hawkins can’t. I dont see it at all with Hawkins. Hopefully we can package him in a trade at the deadline before the rest of the league figures it out

Yeah, my main takeaways from SL right now are:
1) Dyson is bigger, stronger, and is going to have a bigger role this coming season,
2) Hawkins doesn't look like he's going to compete for minutes for a while,
3) Seabron is improved but still looks like a 2-way, though I can see him getting a regular deal after another year, and
4) Matkovic definitely needs another year in Europe before even being a last-off-the-bench big.
