surefire hall of famer

I think surefire is a bit of a stretch. His peak was playing Robin on a fake championship run.

They all want to he in fame markets. They don’t care so much about winning championships as long as they have fame.

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo
2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
3. Victor Wembanyama
4. Ja Morant
5. Tyrese Haliburton

All play in small markets & all are thriving. Your post is invalid. In this age of internet & social media, the need to play in larger markets for advertising deals for players aren't necessary.

Because of social media, playing in a large market can negatively effect a player's brand & marketability since fanbases can be so vile & turn on players so quickly. Large markets just brings larger numbers of volatility then the rest of the sports media latches on & situations can snowball. Just look what's going on currently in Philadelphia & Miami while on the other hand what's going with the Pels is barely a blimp on the radar.

His numbers & playing for the Lakers get him in easily.

Baron Davis
CP3
Anthony Davis
soon Zion Williamson
Lebron James
Jimmy Butler
Pau Gasol
Kevin Durant
James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Dwayne Wade
Chris Bosh
Kevin Love
Kyrie Irving
Kawhi Leonard

My list of players that support my statement could be 10x longer than yours if I sit here and keep typing.

There are other factors at play with those markets, but by and large, my post is indeed valid. The players will generally want to leave for one of three or maybe four cities. Boston/NY, LA, CHI, or maybe if a smaller market has all the work and heavy lifting done to win championships, has some good solid all star level role players, and maybe a hall of fame coach, they’ll stay awhile there. (San Antonio, current Milwaukee, Dallas is a big enough market, MIA was appealing at one point in time)

Nola has no hall of fame coach, poor management, record crime, no media production companies. The state of Louisiana sucks at everything quality of life wise. We got food to help them get out of shape, and we got the french quarter which is not something they are interested in because you never see any athletes risking their lives to go down to the FQ

And it’s true. So what’s your problem with it?

From what you’ve seen from Zion, you had been thinking, “that’s a guy that wants to be in Nola”?

damn bro…
