I don't get why they would want Lonzo.
Sure, PG Wall is out with an achilles, but he'd still be on the roster when he returns in January with PG Lonzo.
Other than insurance for a Wall re-injury, having these two true PGs together would make absolutely no sense.

This isn't 2K. Beal has two years left on his contract and it puts Lonzo in a bad spot with his addition.
Much rather a player with longterm potential then a guy who could leave for nothing in 2 years.

I don’t see Wall returning this season regardless of what people say.
He’s just had two major leg surgeries, the second one coming after he tore the Achilles while recovering from the first surgery. He would also be coming back to what will probably be one of the worst teams in the league, especially if Beal gets shipped out.
Why risk him hurting himself again when you can take a Disabled Player Exception to sign a replacement and then let him recover rather than trying to rush back and hurting himself again?

Way too small as an everyday lineup. Zion shouldn’t be saddled with gaurding the other teams center his rookie year. If the Beal trade happens it would have to be Lonzo, the 4th plus another 1st down the line and then you still have the issue of Beal and Jrue playing the same 2 gaurd position.

Would rather add Turner and Mirotic > Beal considering we would have Lonzo and Ingram at PG and SF. I think we can sign and draft for quality shooters to fill out the roster with more money available. We act like Hart, Jackson, and Moore are terrible 3pt shooters. Not to mention if we could have Turner and Mirotic that would be a great fit and good 3 pt help down low.

You sir read my mind. The only thing is that I hope it can be 18 and Turner for 4th pick. That way we can pick up Cam Johnson as our backup wing.

Mirotic is not a prototype 5 but he proved he can play there in a small ball lineup and still rebound well.

True but as strange as it sounds Niko was the starting center for us when Boogie went down. AD didn’t want to play center.
