What would our record be if Stan made the change earlier?

And Melli! I really don’t get it. But at least now it looks like we have our rotations figured out

Wasn’t hurt, but he had visa issues so he couldn’t practice during training camp (at least for part of it).

Gabriel was hurt. Kira and NAW getting more of JJs minutes has helped as well.

Visa issues early on in the season. Probably took awhile before he picked up the scheme. But he looks a lot different than the first time he was put in a game. What a find though.

While it would have been nice for SVG to play Willy sooner, I still give him credit for figuring it out. He’s new to the organization, didn’t have much of a training camp, and was probably pressured to play Jaxson. We’re still not even a third of the season complete and it seems like he’s now pushing all the right buttons.

Are you not going to play your high lottery pick?

It's just a bad situation all round that he's turned out to be this bad at basketball

He legit looks like he started playing the day before yesterday

I’d be careful to assume it was all SVG.

I’m sure some of it was the visa issue, but also the fact Griff’s true first move in the draft was moving back trying to prove he was the smartest guy in the room by taking NAW and Hayes over Hunter or Garland. The guy getting straight DNP’s his sophomore year probably was not in the cards for SVG until Hayes played himself out of the role

hernangomez is not the reason Pels have a losing record. that one week where we played LAL and LAC back to back, then caught the Utah buzzsaw twice in three days right after to go 1-4 in 8 days is pretty much the sole reason the Pels have a losing record.

He tried to move Pick 13 when we were on the clock too

Guy gives no fricks about high picks

Jaxson is not a high lottery pick.

If only there was another league where a player can get developmental minutes.

The same.

You almost to play Jaxson. You'd hope your #8 pick would progress and he needed minutes. Admit it or not, but Hayes has had multiple games where he put in quality minutes. He didn't cost us any games.

It's a bottom half of the lottery pick.

Not sure I’m gonna go that far.

There wasn’t a larger drop off in the league from when our lineups went from our starters to being anchored by Hayes.

That just puts a TON of added pressure on everyone else when you are giving up so much so quickly and having to claw back while also overcompensating for his poor defensive anchoring.

I would say the 8th pick is pretty high. You at least gotta figure out what they have. The G-league is practically a death sentence for NBA careers
