Jake came out firing on GOP for what seemed like a legit question phrased in a benign way.

He didn’t accuse jake or clark of lying or anything of that nature and Jake took it to 11 on him. Weird af.

Is that really how you see this? I wasn’t here for the rumble yesterday, but it pretty much looks like people fairly criticized the validity of the story and Jake had a meltdown from the beginning that just continued to get worse. I don’t think it was necessarily an organized effort to “run off a blogger”. The criticism was fair and Jake folded.

although you’re right about Twitter just being an echo chamber for people to jerk each other off with similar opinions and beliefs, that exchange with Jake and posters on here had no politics involved at all. Idk it felt weird seeing your post on political differences being the reason why this little online beef happened when there was no politics being spewed for this specific incident

The irony is that this board is as sensitive or moreso than any flaming liberal on Twitter. And the mods will ban you very quick if you troll too hard back at the idiots. And this ridiculous shite around Jake talking shite back speaks to it.

This site is as big an echo chamber as any community on Twitter and it reinforces itself by the very shite people did to Jake. Which is immediately dogpiling and bullying out the deviating voices.

Jake is fine, I listen to his pod more than any of the others. His opinions on the Pels are great, and if he wants to come on here even better.
I do take issue with the entire Pels blogger/journalist group as a whole. I get its not exactly easy to cover a team whose fanbase suffers from catastrophe syndrome, but boy do they like to contribute to it then hide behind "it's journalism". And then they all pat themselves on the back like one big circle jerk once it gets a little bit of national press.
I mean you had that national Athletic dude say the Pels might move to Seattle and our local Athletic dude said nothing to refute it, he just hid behind his hit piece earlier in the day. Credit to Jake for coming out and refuting himself, but nothing was heard from Guillory, I guess afraid to confront the other dude on his trashy article.
Cut to recent and a newspaper guy comes out with a piano story out of nowhere and once again all the Pels bloggers go all over Twitter talking about how great it was because they don't like Griff. And what do you know, it wasn't true. And now we have a 7 page thread debating who's lying. Who does this help?

I’m assuming that’s Will Guillory but not 100% sure. I remember him hyping up an article this summer with flame emojis and other lame shite and it wound up being a piece about Zions family wanting him out of Nola. Like wtf is that. I understand writing about it, but to hype it up and get giddy about it before posting is weird af.
