OKC is playing dirty. Maybe we should draft him out of spite.

He has a guarantee from a top 7 team? Hoping that’s the case, he may come up aces, but think I rather not have to take the big gamble and go with Daniels or Mathurin.

If he’s what’s left of the consensus top 8, I’d still go ahead and draft him. He can sit and develop for a few years. He’s also the type of prospect another team will want if they have to trade their star player if we go down that road in the future.

Smith
Chet
Banchero
Ivey
Murray
Sharpe
???

If that is how it plays out, we get our choice of Daniels or Mathurin.

Yea… there’s no way Griffin pulls the trigger if their camp pulled that stunt.

I can’t understand why anyone would play these type of games with millions and generational wealth for your family on the line. Jeez

You mean what’s left of the two? Then yes.

Possibly. Still also possible someone trades up to get another player they want which isn’t either of them.

Frick him. Gives us another reason not to draft him if he's there at 8.

A wise man once told me the second person to own a hotel makes money. I feel like that may apply to Sharpe and whatever teams accepts his growing pains.

His mentor Dwayne Washington makes Lavar Ball look like a MENSA member

SAC is going to take him, I’m calling it now. It’s too on brand for the Kings to pass him up.

If Sharpe cancelled his workout, don't draft him.

Seriously, does Sharpe realize that the higher you’re drafted the more money you make? Any team can develop him, doesn’t have to be OKC.

Either he has a promise before 8 or he wants lots of minutes to show out (in his mind). Or maybe he's crazy enough to be thinking about his market already. I imagine it's a promise, so the question is who promised him.

Yeah, a higher team probably gave him a guarantee.

Dion Waiters pulled this shite around a decade ago. Turned out the Cavs promised him at 4th overall.
