Sources: Zion Williamson met in Chicago with the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies, the top two teams in the Draft lottery. Williamson had a positive meeting with New Orleans and prior to lottery, he cited Pelicans as a targeted team to start career.

I mean he would’ve likely ended up in New Orleans if multiple teams won the lottery, it only made sense to meet with us.

Considering that the Pels held a ton of cards to trade for him, this WAS a no-fricking-brainer.

Of course, the talking heads don’t know or care about that.

The idea that he would ever pull a power move was always asinine. If you've ever seen an interview with the kid you can tell that's not him.

I wouldn’t go that far yet but he at least seems smarter and more savvy than the average meathead athlete.

I’m sure Colin will be issuing a retraction and an apology for his shitty, irresponsible, and inflammatory take yesterday

Shams is the same guy who guaranteed AD was being traded to LA and also said that Zion wasnt happy and going back to school. That guys sources are worthless.

You must be thinking of Spears or Windhorst. Shams didn’t report that. Shams, Woj, and Stein are the 3 most reliable news breakers in the NBA media.

Speaking to this, do we think that Stein's sources within the Pels organization were tied to Dell? Just wondering if going forward he'll still be the most consistent voice when something "leaks" concerning the Pels.

You know who would actually benefit most from going back to college? People who spent hours yesterday foisting upon us a narrative from the land of make-believe, without ever actually bothering to ask any of the principals for their perspective. Tip of the cap to
