There’s always a trend with reports on both teams firing someone and ownership “loving them”
If you’re a family man and religious you are basically in with Gayle and she values personal relationships greatly over results it seems.
She’s just not someone that can be dispassionate and cut throat when it comes to these things.

As others mentioned, Benson is a moron that cares more about the Catholic Church than anything else. If you are a religious Christian, you can be as awful at your job and she will still keep you on.
Probably could be the best at your job, but if you criticized the religion or church she likely fires you.
She's not a good human being, although people try to make her out to be. She's corrupt and does not really care about putting winning teams out there. It's a side piece for her to make money at this point. She's reverting the team back to the Shinn days.

That’s a bit much. By all accounts she’s a nice lady that cares deeply about her faith, treats people well, and hires people to do the job, gives them every dollar they need to do it and gets out of their way.
She just married to get into her situation and has zero business savvy so she’s not equipped to run two professional franchises.

Dumars was responsible for bringing the Pistons back. I think he made trade that sent Grant Hill for Ben Wallace. At the time considered a steal by Orlando. Also got Rip Hamilton.
That was decades ago. Good info about: Gordon and other bad contracts. Forgot about that.
