Darren collison is facing suspension, the kings are terrible, and they still don't want rondo back

The whole "makes teammates better" and "good defender" are things of the past

quote:

Despite creating so many assists for his teammates, Rondo's impact on the offense was almost unseen. Their offensive efficiency ticked up just 0.1 points per 100 possessions with him on the court. The defense, however, fell by 1.4 points. They were a minus-2.2 per 100 possessions with him on the bench and a minus-3.4 with him on the floor. His numbers did little to do anything other than make his individual side of it look good. Some of that is the team being bad and full of turmoil. Some of that was his poor defense and lazy gambling on that end of the floor.

If he is as bad as you make it out to be then why did crazy Demarcus Cousins love playing with him and according to Marc Spears AD is a big fan of him

Demarcus Cousins has played 6 seasons as a perceived stud and has led his team to 30+ wins once (33 wins).

I don't really care what he likes, tbh

He and Davis both have UK bias in regards to Rondo

I will fricking picket Smoothie King Arena if we sign that bum.

He didn't want to play for Rick Carlisle. A top 5, hell, top 3 coach in the league.

And some morons think he'll play for Uncle AL.

all I can remember about Rondo at this point is the Mavericks a couple years ago having a great season (like people were saying title contenders)... then the trade for him and the Mavs just collapsed and were ousted before the Conference Finals

At first I thought this would be stupid but I would love this if the lineup became

Rondo
Holliday
Hill
Davis
Asik

Bench
Heild
Qpon
Cunningham
Ajinca
Moore

Jesus Christ who would make a basket outside of 6 feet except AD in that starting lineup?

Um, Holiday or Hill?

ETA: if Rondo is brought in I think it's as a backup.

Celtics had
Rondo
Allen
Pierce
Garnett
Perkins

I see only two outside shooters in that line up as well

Allen, pierce, and Garnett were all good shooters.

Holliday, Hill, AD?

I mean obviously not as good shooting wise as Pierce, Allen, Garnett, but same amount of guys that can shoot

Hield would be Ray Allen, and AD would be Garnett. We would still need to trade Jrue and find our Pierce.

We aren't getting our Pierce by trading Jrue.
