I just got through with mine. Told them to basically watch the 2014 ASG that was held in NOLA and copy that shite to a T. The gameday experience is largely unchanged since the team relocated here in 2002. That shite is unacceptable.

Dim the lights (a la Lakers) and hire a full time organist to play contemporary pop and hip hop music (a la Atlanta). No more of this bullshite piped in music that was popular in 2002.

I urge my fellow Sons to voice the same/similar concerns and suggestions.

2014 ASG was so fricking awesome from an atmosphere/production standpoint and it royally pissed me off that the NBA was able to do that in our arena, yet the pelicans organization can't do any better than whatever the Charlotte Hornets were rolling with in 2001.

Music has been horrible for years and extremely uninspiring at the end of games. I am never pumped up at all by any of the music being played. That needs to be changed ASAP.

It's the same played out generic garbage like YMCA and Jump Around and the same annoying redundant sound effects during the game. It's hard to fathom that the people in charge of this stuff review the in game music before each season and say, 'Yep, this is what we're gonna stick with. Still relevant'.

Seems pretty spot on IMO.

Heard from someone that the people who dislike the gameday production are in the minority. Apparently more like it than people on this board think? Take it FWIW.

The Hollywood lights theme is amazing I'm surprised other teams haven't copied it more.

I added in, get rid of the constant Cab Calloway call and responses. its not 1980, and we aren't on the set of the blues brothers. Id rather do the J-e-t-s chant with PELS instead. the music has got to improve, its gross how much better some of the other fanbases have it with their gameday atmospheres. I mean both the Spurs and Rockets games had a ton of their fans and they have their own chants and were doing them in our arena, thats embarrassing as hell..

oh, and bring back the Ric Flair WOO!

Bring back the "House of The Rising Sun/Son" player intro from 2014-15 while we're at it.

The general public are idiots.

They will like it just as much if they do all new stuff, just give it a season or two.

The in arena experience is STALE as frick.

They never hit their groove, but the Trombone Shorty house band was the absolute best production idea in the history of the Hornicans. Daddy Stern should run the Pelicans for Tom.

I went to a Pels Nets game in Brooklyn this year and the in game experience was as different as night and day. The music was up to date (even still playing music while the nets were on offense), the lighting was great (lights mostly only focused on the court), the in house DJ was a nice touch, and the all around vibe was much much better.

This was also a Sunday 1pm tip off in early April of this year...
