Frontier on Milwaukee is the Chicago Saints bar
Twitter video

Video of questionable roughing call. Ref doesn’t even reach for the flag until the ball is about to be (or is) intercepted.
It was pretty comical how routinely behind he was on any Pelicans news
I can't convince myself to exit any of my $5.31 position in AUPH. This was always going to be long term play for me but the short term profits have been incredible!
Who is conducting these workouts if Dell and Gentry went to Sacramento to pick up Boogie?

$112 for a four year? I think that is about right to be honest.

I just renewed mine this morning and it was for two years

I efiled my State and Federal on January 29th. Fed was deposited into my account on Monday the 6th and I get the following message from the Louisiana Department of Revenue...

Your Refund information is currently unavailable for this tax period. If you filed electronically, please check again in 60 days from the day you filed your return. If you filed a paper return, please check again in 14 weeks from the day you filed your return.

Last year took more than 60 days to get an updated status

or sign a long term deal for below market value...
So Crewz has on multiple occasions suggested that game 10 (November 12th against the baby Lakers) COULD be when Jrue makes his return to the Pellies...

i feel like I have been saying that game 10 will be an interesting point for a few weeks now...

TOMORROW IS GAME 10. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?
The food options in Champions Square and in the dome are laughable. It appears as if they moved most of the food options to the inside area of Champions Square and the only choices in there are nachos, pizza, and jambalaya...

The odd thing is one of the supposed excuses for not having a pressers is it's taken so long to get everything worked out that they weren't sure if they could get everyone in all at once. They clearly had 3 guys in at the same time yesterday, is it really that hard to trot them out holding a jersey for 15 minutes?

One thing I noticed that no one has seemed to point out is that all of the pictures they posted were seemingly taken one week ago. You can tell because they posted pictures to their snapchat that clearly state "one week ago." Also, isn't Hill at his own camp this week? I guess they did the photoshoots and what not a week ago but waited until they figured out the smaller contracts before making it official?

If they want valentine couldn't they trade back to the 10-15 range and probably still get him?

Just please shop Gordon. I'll take anything mildly decent in return.

He is an UFA so we will not be getting anything in return for him
If you look at John Reid's twitter (LINK he posted some pictures of a poll from nola.com that asked fans to give Dell Demps a rating of A-F. He posted pictures of the results from 4/25 and then again today 4/27. Somehow 600+ A votes came in the last two days after F had a commanding lead...
I went to a Pels Nets game in Brooklyn this year and the in game experience was as different as night and day. The music was up to date (even still playing music while the nets were on offense), the lighting was great (lights mostly only focused on the court), the in house DJ was a nice touch, and the all around vibe was much much better.

This was also a Sunday 1pm tip off in early April of this year...

Ummmmmm I believe you mean Ish Smith

It depends on what we are getting in the trade imo.

Solid point. McNamara floats some interesting options in his article. Brooke Lopez and Thad young are intriguing options and I think Jimmy Butler is probably being a little unrealistic. Although I would rather take the 1st or 2nd pick than trade it for Butler. It scares me that his inside info seems so confident that the FO would go no where near a prospect like Murray if given the choice. I do like the idea of taking a guy who has been invested in a team for 3-4 years and knows how to win. We absolutely need more winners and guys with above average basketball IQ on this team.
I agree that Dell has to be shown the door this summer. He has been here for 6 years and his best move was the sign and trade for Ryno (which come this summer we will have nothing to show for). We have no assets except for our draft pick this year (I'm obviously not including AD) and any momentum we had after last season is long gone. If we keep him around I think he will absolutely do more "win now" moves in order to save his own arse. Bye felecia

Demps, Gentry, and everyone else in this organization are idiots...your best player is 22 freaking years old. Where is all this "win now" crap going to be when he is 27 and in his prime and these other guys are 32+ years old?

I completely agree. We need young studs on rookie deals. Let's try and actually draft and develop them ourselves for once... I will be pretty pissed if we trade our pick for more of this "win now" bs.
His point is that Benson wants a win now team. Meaning the GM, whoever that may be come draft time, will be instructed to get a player that is ready to contribute right away instead of waiting until 2019.

I for one am all aboard the Murray train. I think he would be a great young piece to add to our core. If we can draft Murray and then somehow fill the gaping hole at 3 in FA i think that would be a wonderful off-season.
LINK

McNamara seems to think the FO will not take him.

quote:

Get excited about Jamal Murray like I have? It will only disappoint you when the Pels don’t take him. Dell Demps and Alvin Gentry have no desire to wait until 2019 for a young guy to develop.
quote:

That just isn't going to happen. First, there aren't that many 2nd/3rd banana candidates available this offseason, and the ones that are will be guys that get max offers from actual playoff teams. Sadly the Pels are a should be playoff team.

Yeah... I forgot you said realistic haha!

This is why it is even more important for us to hit on this year's draft pick. Maybe if this team can turn it around next year so we are at least heading in the right direction, we can lure a top FA in the 2017 Off-season? One can dream
What happens to Reke in your scenario? Are you letting him walk next off-season, dumping him this off-season, or trading him mid next season?

I think this off-season will be huge for us going forward. What happens to Demps? Can we finally hit on a first round pick not named AD? Will the allure of playing next to AD finally attract a mid to top tier FA who fits a position of need?

I hope the answers to these questions are that Demps is shown the door, we draft a stud, and we sign that 2nd/3rd banana this off-season without drastically overpaying.
quote:

- What exactly is Demps' motivation to hold on to Ryan Anderson if he could get any value for him? This is main thing I don't understand about the outrage here. Does anyone really think Demps believes his job status is so unsteady that the 2-5 more wins that Anderson might net you will save his job? I just don't see it. Even if you believe the asking price was too high at the onset of the week, do you believe he would just not lower it as the deadline approached? If not, what is the motivation there? Spite? Pride? I don't buy it. It wasn't widely reported, but Demps was extended last summer. I don't think he is on as shaky of ground as many of you believe (or hope).

I think a huge thing you fail to mention is that these extra wins also decrease your draft position. We need an impact player at a position of need on a rookie contact. Statistically speaking, the better draft pick you have the better chance of hitting on that player is.
Another thing to consider. No Ryno on this team for the rest of the season means more ping pong balls come draft lottery. Keeping him on the team lets him continue to audition for other teams this off-season which I believe someone on this board has already stated. We simply have to be thinking about the future of this team and be trying to acquire as many assets as possible moving forward. That did not happen and the fans have every right to be be shaking their heads and wondering if we can ever trust the FO.
