Who are a few guys y'all think the pels have a legit shot of getting if AD stays. I know most ppl would love kemba but idk if he would consider signing here. Can the pels afford to get either Beverly or brogdon and someone like bogdanovic or Middletown this offseason or do they needs to aim a little lower?

Brogdon is a guy high on their list and a guy I am all for. Would be a great backcourt mate for Jrue. They can both handle, play on or off ball. Brogdon is a good shooter to help space and he can defend 1, 2, and 3.
How to get him: Offer him 4/75 immediately. Milwaukee won't want to match. They already have too many guys to pay this summer and they won't want to pay Brogdon more than they just paid Bledsoe.
So, you call Milwaukee and tell them, instead of going through this whole charade and having him sign a QO, then waiting the three days and not matching. Instead, Milwaukee sign and trades him to the Pels and get E'Twaun Moore and a 10 million dollar trade exception instead of just losing him for nothing.

Damnit, that is such a great scenario, I hate you for putting it in my head.

I would like us to try to get the hometown kid Kelly Oubre, still really young and athletic just have to hope he can improve his 3 point shooting. He just had his career high in points and would finally get us a decent wing.

My question with Oubre is: How does he help your team when he isn't scoring?
Thats my question for every guy I consider because if AD stays, you got Jrue, Zion, and AD getting the ball a lot. I don't need more scorers. I don't need more guys who need the ball to be successful. I need guys who can help me in multiple ways when they don't have the ball. I don't see how Oubre does that. And even if AD is traded, some other high usage guys are coming back - whether it is Tatum or RJ or Ja or Kuzma/Ingram, etc.
I would be seeking out guys who help without the ball, and to me, Oubre is not that

For me, I’d like to see:
Thabo Sefolosha
Tomas Satoransky

might seem crazy but Kenny hustle seems pretty perfect for that role okay defender can probably get even better and I'd say an almost elite rebounder already not to mention he has a pretty decent 3

Bronson is a great fit next to Jrue. He has great size, can defend, and can shoot the 3. We would only need another shooter at SF to help stretch the floor if AD stays.

Kenny Hustle will be a good bench player for this team. If Williams is starting, we have big holes to fill.
IF Brogdon eats 17m - that puts us at about ~10, do you see Niko or a similar stretch 4 at a number we can get to?
Unloading Moore or Hill with AD would help.

MM, how much did Mirotic really like it here? Do you have any idea outside of what he stated in media?
He was streaky, but man even watching him in the playoffs, his D effort is underrated and stretches the court.

He would come back. No doubt about it. In a scenario where Pels trade AD and its perimeter guys that come back, Niko could definitely return and be a great fit next to Zion.

I would absolutely love to get Brogdon, would form one of the best defensive backcourts in the NBA.

Get Brogdon and add a lengthy, switchable wing and the defensive potential would be unreal.

How is Zion projected to be on defense? For instance, say AD stays and we get Niko back, can Zion guard the 3?
I've only seen a couple Duke games. Mainly just highlights so I just don't know.

He can guard everything. His only downside is discipline to not over pursue or fall for ball fakes. Once he gets coached up, it's gonna be nasty having him on the weak side.
Probably what we thought AD would be defensively out of school.

Imagine Draymond Green but with a pogo stick
That is Zion's defensive ceiling. He is high IQ (for a 19yr old), he can both protect the rim and switch on perimeter, contest on perimeter. His recovery ability is insane and he jumps the passing lanes better than any big I have ever seen.
Picture what AD and Niko did in the Portland series. Now, make Niko way faster, a better rim protector and rebounder and more physically imposing. How does that sound?
