I really feel like we essentially clinched a postseason spot tonight. I know we didn't technically clinch, but I'm not worried about missing the play-in anymore.
if my math is correct... our magic number to clinching a play-in spot is 4
we can have a max of 43 losses... Dallas & Utah are both at 40 losses right now and Utah has the season series tiebreaker while the tiebreaker against Dallas is still to be determined

tonight's win was significant on this front
if it comes down to in-conference record between us and the Mavs...
tonight's win got us to 27-21 vs. the West with 4 games remaining vs. the West (3 at home)
Dallas is 27-23 vs. the West with 2 games remaining vs. the West (both at home)

We obviously still root for the T-Wolves in that one.
going to be tough for them with Naz Reid now out
they have 2 gimme wins remaining on their schedule (vs. POR, @ SAS) but can they make up for the loss of Reid?

Our last game against Minny is probably going to decide a seed between us, and it’s the third game between us where we are 1-1.
Some good news for us is Julius Randle is out probably for the rest of the regular season with a sprained ankle.
If they win one of their next two against Wash or Indy they pretty much lock up the 5th seed(not mathematically, but it would require Brooklyn to win out), so they might be resting Brunson as well when they play us.
I think we can win as the 6th or 7th seed. Hell I think we’ll be favorites over Sacramento if that’s who we get. BI is playing at an elite level right now.

Definitely. Man I really want that six seed. I feel like there is a legit chance the Clippers fall out. Us vs Wolves to end the season to determine the 6 seed is a real possibility.
I'll keep saying it, all of these games left are playoff games.

Me too.
If we get to 43 wins, meaning we go 4-1, there's actually a decent chance we get all the way to 5th b/c we would likely hold the tie breakers over the Clippers and GSW, and beating Minny means we have the tie breaker over them.
I would love a first round series with Phoenix again.

I'd much rather see the Kings.

Agreed. Especially if Zion is playing - even if he’s coming off the bench at first

Of course the Pacers are flailing like a fish out of water against the Thunder

I forgive you Pacers... have turned it around in a big way in the 4th
Pacers now leading midway through the 4th
Celtics still up 15 early 4th
T-Wolves up 10 on the Lakers at half
Grizzlies lead the Clippers by 4 at halftime

Wow that ball did not touch McConnell. Let’s see if OKC gets bailed out.

Kawhi got pulled for the 2nd half because they want him to play tomorrow against us.
