The roster flexibility the pelicans can roll with is really impressive. The defensive versatility of Herb, Dyson and Murphy and having three guys in CJ, Zion and Ingram you can run an offense through really set up limitless roster combinations that could work.

Green figuring out the best rotations will be a challenge.

And adding Wembanyama to this roster with the Lakers pick, hello Dynasty

Yeah if dyson works on his offense like Herb, holy shite. Dyson seems to have much more point potential but lower deep shot potential. But both are lock down defenders.

Dyson is looking like another Herb success story. Wow. And what can you say about Jose (possibly the most improved Pelican since last season)?

Kira can shoot and pass tho. Making layups and shooting is different.

Plays like Kira because he’s fast isn’t a great comparison. Y’all are getting more excited about 6 inches than a French whore.

Hey man, 6 inches is a huge deal. At least that’s what my wife tells me when we aren’t fighting.

We have only seen him run to the basket and make a layup. That is his only game. That’s why he was undrafted and not the 13th overall pick in the draft.

Y’all need to stop.

Dyson was a top 7 pick that was clearly going to be an elite defender. He should be able to get early minutes just bc of his defense.

No CJ, BI or Herb. Zion was rusty missing lots of layups and FTs. Jose and the 2nd line took care of business.

“Pels have been able to put a really nice team around their franchise player Jose Alvarado.”

“ I think Jose Alvarado stole all of Chris Paul's powers that last match up.”

“ That Jose Alvarado+Dyson Daniels second unit backcourt gonna make life HELL for opponents.”

-Streameast is the tits. I've watched both games this year on my tv web browser. Why would anyone ever suscribe to Bally's?

-Jose looks incredible. Much improved/confident/consistent on offense and still stout on defense.

-DD is a difference-maker on defense. Jose & DD are a problem. DD is inconsistent on FGs, but has hit crucial buckets when it counts (in both games).

-Tonight, Zion looked a little rusty finishing close to the basket and/or thru-contact. Got fouls but missed FTs. (He looked fine last game.)

-For a team seemingly always missing a starter(s), the Pels have depth. Didn't miss BI, CJ or Herb. Bench out-shined the Pistons starters.

-Coach Temple is worthless on the court.

Dyson gotta play more physical on traffic. He has the tendency to shy from contact at the rim.

I think him filling out as he gets older will fix a lot of that.

That is maybe the first real big concern I have going into the season.

Zion didn’t just miss free throws, he honestly looked like he was shooting them with completely different forms on some of them. Like his brain is struggling to unlearn his old habits and it’s morphing into this weird mutant hybrid form that is worse than anything he had before.

Hoping it’s a one off and not a sign of a regression ala Giannis/Westbrook/Fultz

On those layups he missed they rolled out instead of in like they normally do. They also were all pretty heavily contested, aka he was fouled. He hasn’t played with real game contact in 500 days. He’ll get back to normal with enough game reps.

Yeah Zion had an off game and shot 50%. He'll be fine. It's gonna take about of a months worth of games for him to get right.
