I'm going to guess an overseas signing or a d-league signing.

I was recently told the Pelicans are being aggressive in trade talks. They just waived Darius Miller and Patric Young to open roster spots.

Don't be surprised if New Orleans makes a big trade at some point in the near future. Many around the league expect it to happen.

We've picked up Ajinca, Babbit, Ayon from overseas. Would someone of that caliber really have an impact? Trade seems a lot more likely. Gordon going down puts the season at risk of slipping away and Demps and Monty are on the hot seat.

I have optimism... Maybe Dell can work some Demps magic!!

That's why I assumed they were probably going to pick somebody up from overseas... because they've done it several times before.

most of us agree with you, but looks different this time...
Interesting to see if this might be a trade for a player like...
Jimmy Butler!?

New Orleans is seriously considering signing forward Dante Cunningham, sources tell Yahoo Sports. He worked out for Pelicans this weekend.

Not a big fan of Cunningham

Wilson Chandler and I would streak across the floor of the SKC on Tuesday.

I just hope Loomis/Benson veto anything stupid.
That's what I'm worrying about. What we can do this upcoming offseason is far more important than what we can do now. Trading Ryno for 3 adequate bench guys may help now, but I'd much rather use him to dump Gordon.

Cunningham had domestic assault charges dropped and has become viable for teams. Monty Williams has history w/ Cunningham in Portland.

Cunningham isn't a terrible player, but we don't really have many minutes available at the 4. Would rather take our chances with Young developing into something than sign a player that can help us a bit more now, but only get ~5mpg.

Not to burst everyone's bubble, but Alex Kennedy is pretty much always wrong concerning anything Pelicans related.
