Story of the night:

Graham: -21 in 28 mins
Nance: -19 in 14 minutes
Temple: -17 in 17 minutes

Just having Dyson available to take Temple’s minutes could have been a 6-8 point swing by itself.

Overall I was impressed by our fight. We’ll be just fine.

We couldn’t rebound worth a shite tonight

Nance oddly had a bad game

Temple at least gave us some buckets

I think any time we are running Graham, Jose, and CJ out there, that’s a tough defensive lineup due to height.

Just a bunch of weird lineups required tonight due to the injuries.

We should probably just flush this game as fans and appreciate the fight

Also. Props to Naji for absolutely balling the last 2 games.

I'm not sure if Murphy is not been aggressive or if your best shooter is not getting shots. I look at the stats and every game he has 8 shots total on 37 plus minutes. What is going on?

CJ is always 5 for 30 seems like and this particular game everyone on starting 5 shot at least 13 times.
Why is the person with the worst percentage shooting all the time?

My main issue with CJ is he needs to be better at the 3 point kick out. He usually does a good job feeding Jonas but he needs to work with those like Murphy on this to open up his own lanes a little more.

Hmm good point, I think it's a matter of time before he is sitting next to Temple and I think he knows it.

He can't move BI, he can't move Zion, he can't move Herb because he doesn't play defense so his only hope is Murphy doesn't explode. Maybe the reason for not sharing the rock. IJS.

Temple didn’t seem as terrible as usual.

Naji played well.

We really underutilized Jonas.

bullshite fouls in the second quarter.

CJ concerns me.

I agree, that CJ is a concern and no one who suppose to know basketball the best (coaches) is saying anything.
Every night he shots 30 times and makes 6.

He will never be Batman always Robin and I think he thought he would be Batman in New Orleans. It will never happen. BI is Batman and Zion is Robin. Deal with it.

CJ should be and will be our #3 option with a full roster. Don’t read too much into the last 2 games. He will get open looks once BI, JV and Z are all playing together.

He is being asked to be a playmaker with our injuries and he is taking more shots. That will balance itself out once everyone is healthy.

CJ should not be a concern. We had several big guys out and he’s had to forced it a little. Bridges is a bad matchup for him. When we are healthy he doesn’t put as much pressure on himself. He goes on good and bad runs but what he has done that’s unusual is be a better defender.

Again we had several guys out. I’m not sure we’ve had many reps with this group alone. It was probably good practice for these bench guys moving forward to get more action. I think we will see more guys play Sunday and especially Wednesday. Beating the lakers means everything right now.

I hope you are right. Because I'm just saying he is not finishing like he use to, or let me just say he is not Portland Blazer CJ anymore.

That ship has sailed.

If you want to be a little encouraged, CJ is 7th in assists per game. 8/2 in assist to TO ratio is pretty good. He’s definitely playing a different role here vs Portland as main facilitator in the starting 5. I think people tend to forget he hasn’t been on the team that long and he will continue to feel his role out better with more games.

The poster you're replying to has been on a crusade all season against CJ and BI for not passing enough to Murphy. A quite unhealthy crusade, at that.

If Murphy is going to be this good of shooter he definitely needs to be in the game a lot and placed on the court in ways to open everything up. His shooting is unbelievable right now.

He literally shot us back into the jazz game. When zion and B.i. come back and he isn't the center of attention he'll be even better.

Bad take
