Amin Elhassan > Lowe

Amin Elhassan is a jackass who thinks he's funny and clever, but he's not. When he's just talking basketball he's fine. Too often he's talking at people, not to them, because he always thinks he's the most brilliant guy in the room.

Tom Haberstroh's been doing some good work lately. But SBnation's staff of nba writers shits all over espn's, who's content sits behind a paywall and consists of nothing but numbers you could get for free at basketball reference or nba.com/stats

I'm not a guy that shits on espn because its a cool thing to do, but their nba coverage is embarrassing, considering all the resources they have. They pay like 5 guys to tell you how many 3 pointers every team shoots, and nba tonight just kind of randomly comes on espn2 whenever they can fit it in, usually after midnight and without an actual set.

Well that escalated quickly

Gyno hates twitter. He's a dinosaur. I guess he wants to know who writes the best sports illustrated articles on basketball

Wat

I have like 5k tweets

I was pointing out most of those guys goof off on Twitter when he said Amin tries to be funny. A guy like Russilo makes a serious Tweet 10% of the time

Just saying it's not a way to judge "content"

I have an account and have tweeted exactly once. I never pay attention when I receive notice of an incoming tweet. Luddite.

So like I was saying, this board's thoughts on it's most respected NBA guy saying that Davis should be playing the 5?

He's not wrong. Flannery is not wrong either.

Davis will be mostly a 5 in the playoffs. Most teams go smaller then and Davis is a trump card at the 5. But Davis also needs some protection throughout the regular season. Having a banger 5 to help out is necessary for 82 games.

I really think it will be similar to what we've seen the Spurs do with Duncan for years now and most recently with Splitter and Diaw. Splitter becomes a backup and Diaw's versatility takes over when the games get serious in the spring. It's much easier to find a small ball 4 than a skilled 2 way 5.
