Peavy is already on the roster with a guaranteed contract to my knowledge. He wasn't an undrafted player we drafted him.
We can either trade Hawk for a player or trade both Hawk/ Jose and add (2) players.

A large majority of 2nd rd picks get atleast 1 yr guaranteed. I think it was like 70%. We also picked him top #10 in rd 2 so its highly likely he's on the team.
Especially when you have a $5mil negative asset like Hawk on that same team. I'd say with 100% confidence he's on the roster.

Yeah, the situation has changed with the new cap rules. Teams just about HAVE to roster a 2nd round pick to save money. Peavy is going to get a guaranteed contract, because guys picked in the top half of the 2nd round normally do now

God, I hope he keeps that hairdo for the regular season. If so, I have pressing questions:
Will he put those luscious locks into a ponytail?
Will he let it flow freely and let his hair bounce around every time he jumps for a rebound?
Will he gently brush those bangs away from his eyes as part of his free-throw routine?
Will the Pelicans have "Looney Night" and distribute Looney wigs?
