Easy to beat a shorthanded 76ers team, hawks, raptors, etc, but when this team plays the upper tier teams of the league at full strength, they lay an egg.

Thats why this team is not ready to take the next step.

27 points down with 8min left and you put back in CJ and then Herb and at the same time keep Z and BI, who were on pace for 39 and 37min respectively.
So, you are trying to make a comeback with both of them attacking the rim and no 3 point attempts and Hawk & Mat Ryan check-in at 4min mark only.

Notice how AD kept saying that they have one rim runner and surround him with 3 point shooters?

Willie will never fricking learn.

Also hurts that BI is scared shitless to shoot a 3.

Yet again we’re on pace for 50 wins so we cant blame Willie lol. Its so apparent that coaching is holding this team back.

They were completely out schemed. Willie as usual stuck with same rotations too long and didn’t adjust. Game over.

Agreed.

And as much as it pains me to say it, the Zion experiment is the holdup..he stalls the entire offense..i mean look how ridiculous: we have “point Zion” for a guy that CANNOT won’t even SHOOT or consistently make a 10-12 foot jump shot, yet he’s the point guard.
So you back off of him, now he puts his shoulders down and drives into treeLand..and he does his best but bruh that is our offense. It doesn’t involve the 30mil guy in CJ nor does it involve the other 40mil player in BI.

Plus it stalls the growth of your up and coming players like Herb and Trey.

It’s a front office nightmare. Bc if you trade him and it blows up in your face = fired. But if you don’t do anything and it doesn’t work = oh well we tried. That’s chicken shite.

We won’t have another deadly combo at the 2 and 3 like CJ and Bi..for Godsake please GO GET A POINT GUARD ANYONE half decent enough to make that 10-12 foot jumper!
I’m serious, anyone would be ok in this offense with these shootersANYONE. But it will NOT work with a dude who can’t shoot, who’s undersized BY A MILE when all he wants to do is go inside, ain’t gonna work. And i have a ton of love for Z for what it’s worth, but he has to realize that if he can’t consistently knock down a midrange jumper, nothing will work for us.

Ok end rant.

He wasn't the only one.

Trey and Herb were both gun shy. 0 attempted from herb and fricking only 6 from trey. That isn't a winning formula.

Ingram and Zion showed up tonight and no one else did. Jose was playing whack forcing shite that wasn't there.

The Cavs made us uncomfortable with their defense. We didn't stick to what helped us win games up to this point. That's the biggest problem in this game.

Pels need to adjust because dudes are gonna walk away from Naji on the court. They'll close herb a little faster. Trey is gonna have to make contested 3s. Is what it is. Hopefully Pels adjust. I think they will.

You’re blaming the only guy who played very well tonight. Thats absurd. You should never rant again.

First game I’ve been to since the Spurs play in. Naturally we hit 2 3’s the whole game. Zion was fun to watch though, you have to see him in person to comprehend how freakish he is

Tuesday evening - there is a chance to be 1 game down to LAC by end of the week (or even with the same record if they lose against Chicago).
Wednesday morning Willie - Nah, we are a better road team and don't need home court advantage.

The others on the team are paid to make wide open 3s. Pathetic to only be able to make 2 3s the entire game.

Your rant was worse than our 3 point shooting tonight. Impressive.

Lets be honest the only 2 guys paid to do that are CJ and Trey who are in the rotation. Ryan and Hawkins are paid to do that but they collect DNPs.

Tonight was exactly why I don’t like CJ on this team. Missing his 3 = completely useless

It's frustrating. We have several 3pt shooters on the team that play consistent minutes.

Val made a 3 to start. Didn't make another
CJ looks fricked. He may need to shut it down
Herb is top 10 in 3pt% and didn't take a 3
Ingram was cooking, but he should've adjusted mid game
Trey got gun shy after the first half and that's fricked
Even Naji has been hot from 3 recently until tonight.

The Pels shoot the 3 at a high %. Tonight was an anomaly imo.

Yeah let’s just ignore the fact that we are 1 of 8 teams with a winning record against teams over .500.

Everyone not named BI, Zion, and Jonas are paid to primarily make open 3s on offense. That is what they are basically paid to do on offense.

I'd also want to say time and time again, that Willie would rather play wings that can switch than 3pt shooters that can't do anything else. You don't see hawk and Ryan for that exact reason. It's been a winning formula this year. But not when they guys you need taking 3s don't take them and don't make them.
