Zion's demeanor was noticeably different. Not all smiles or screaming after makes. Very business like.

An out of shape Zion just scored 36 points on the best defense in the league. Just think about that. Thats how good he is if he isnt in shape but just gives effort.

Yeah he gave really short answers and looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. I’m sure he’s pissed about the leaks about him not doing what he needs to do to be in shape.

Yeah he was noticeably different in the interview. Also notice no one was fricking around? No Jose or Trey or naji goofing off.

Looks like Willie is dead set on his 10 man rotation. Hawkins, Lewis, Ryan, JRE, and Liddell will never see meaningful minutes as long as they're healthy and isn't sitting players for B2B games.
Zeller is the only one who may see minutes of foul trouble becomes an issue.

Tons of even or damn near even stats actually. 14/14 turnovers, 36/37 3pt%,
The biggest difference was the paint tonight vs their 3pt shooting. Jonas and Zion killed it. Zion took a ton of fts (and made them!), and they took 9 more 3s to only make 3 more than us.

Zion playing like this will get us wins even if his shot isn’t falling at his normal rate. Getting foul calls allows us to set our defense and Zion to get breathers. If he is passive we get less foul calls and he gets more tired and it impacts his shot making. We don’t lose games when he gets 10+ free throws. Side note: our key to beating Minny is to attack Rudy with Zion and BI and get him in foul trouble and then do the same with KAT when he becomes the defacto center. Also double KAT when he gets the ball in that scenario. Let Ant get his but stop Kat from being an offensive threat.

I don’t know I’m of the firm belief great offense helps with your defense. My thing was I dont think Naji jose amd dyson should all play at the same time.

Ryan will definitely see minutes once he returns from injury.
JRE and especially Lewis and Liddell don't deserve minutes.
