But it was still fun and we are missing two of our best 7 players. It was a good example of how to win small.

It was a blast. A super fun game. I actually think it helped having those guys out. It allowed McCollum, Ingram and Murray to shine. I just don't know how it will fit when we are all healthy. But it doesn't matter now..

Green was a pleasant surprise in the Naji role. I’m a big proponent of having a guy that is just a physical beast to beat on opposing teams wing scorers for 10-15m a game. Imo it really causes them to lose their legs in the 4th.

You need to realize JV was a horrific fit because of his lack of a 3 point shot, shot blocking, ability to catch lobs and to switch. His strengths are all things other players on the team could do better. Theis plays very well within himself and plays smart. He clearly knows his role and does the dirty work. Missi gives you what JV lacked besides the 3 point shot which we don’t need from him anyway. Not to mention I have faith in Karlo. This team is better and DEEPER than last year

Theis/Missi @ C: 41 min./ 20 pts/ 9 rebs/ 6 blks/ 4 asts. Not bad.

The biggest disappointment of the night was not getting any clue as to what the rotations will be like. I'm sure that Willie is going to play around with it based on matchups and who's hot, but we still didn't even get a taste.

CJ and Herb are sort of in competition for those crunch time minutes, and CJ outplayed Herb tonight.

The issue is you're comparing tonight which is going to be on the better side and probably close to as good as it gets for Theis/Missi to the worst of Val performances.

It would be no different than me waiting for a night whee Theis does nothing and Missi has 5 fouls in 13 minutes then comparing that to a night where Val gave us 26 and 14.

Those at outliers. I'm saying something that is not a hot take, just an fairly obvious statement... For this season, the average output we'll see from the center position will not be as good as we got from Val. Theis is below average, and Missi will learn on the fly and give us fantastic glimpses, some good games and a lot of duds, that's to be expected. What we learned is we may get way more good for the season from Missi than we thought but don't let that fool you into thinking we won't see a lot of bumps in the road as we go along, again, which is fine.

Tonight will end up being Missi's worst game of the season.

Dude why are you talking like you are from the future. All we can go off of is tonight. Your argument is dependent on YOUR opinion of how the future will go. WE are going off of what we have seen tonight. You seem bitter that the wheels disnt fall off

You seem to lack comprehension, or actual reading if that's what you took from it.

Also, the stuff I'm responding to is not at all what you're saying, which again, goes back to you not trying to comprehend the discussion at hand.

My favorite part is how folks like you will unrealistically adjust your expectations then start getting mad at Missi when he struggles, then getting mad at me when I point this out when it happens...

What am I lacking comprehension about? You never actually mentioned what I’m not getting. You then went on to repeat yourself saying that you somehow know that Missi isn’t going to play good in the future based on only YOUR hopes and dreams to be right. I was one of the very few here that wasn’t worried about the center position so I have been right so far. Comprehend that

I've said probably 5 times how great it is that Missi already gave good minutes and how it's a good sign for us.

And you comprehended me saying that bunch of times as me being mad that wheels didn't fall off

If that doesn't show you're lacking the will to even try to comprehend things, then there's not much else I can say that'll help.

The average Missi game this season will be better or worse than tonight? Tell me what you think, let's see if you want to have a rational or fantasy conversation.

You are assuming I’m reading every comment and especially every comment you make. I’m not. I responded to 1 comment you made that was stupid and you are somehow conflating that I’ve been fighting with you. I correctly pointed out on a single comment that you are talking like you know what happened already. You don’t dude so stop acting like you do and stop acting like you aren’t doing that. This game is probably better than what his normal game will be but he will have better games than this oneband he clearly is a future starter

So maybe don't making sweeping nonsenical declarations based off of 1 post whee nothing of the sort was remotely insinuated. Cool.

I've made exactly 0 of those in this thread, so no, you didn't.

Chefs kiss, perfectly done.

You get to make a prediction about him that is "clearly" but I do not.

You do realize that is literally what you did, like you see the absurdity of those 2 comments basically back to back, right?

At least tell me you do see that, so I can know you're at the very least trying to be rational right now. If not, then I'll let you to be to your irrational self where you get to tell me I can't do something then immediately do the same thing.

Green, Hawk, JRE, and Missi all played solid for what was asked.

Missi and Hawk are just bonuses at this point!

JRE/ Theis are the exact offensive/ defensive combo we needed from Larry Nance

If BI keeps shooting 3's....
Murray is looking very SAS esque....

It makes more sense to have Herb come off the bench and start Theis IMO.
