Beli and some other dude consumed the Spurs' MLE. They had the full MLE, so no cappy dance... do the cappy dance, do the cappy dance...

I would hope the tax implications would give Miami some pause before offering over the minimum. I think Dallas would want more for their cap room than Oden (i.e. Dalembert). Spurs may be the toughest. Even though they can only offer the minimum, he can play for a contender while learning from Duncan. Worth a shot though. Thanks for the cap clarifications.

Yup.

Pelicans expect to meet free agent center Greg Oden next week, sources told Y! Sports. Pelicans poised to make offer close to $3 million.

Nothing new really other than next week.

Look on the bright side. We got an extra week of drama out of this. If not for Oden we'd be over analyzing Austin Rivers right now.

If only I didn't have the bar next week.

Good luck, sir. How has LSU Law done with the new scoring?

IF Oden can stay healthy and give us some minutes, and play anywhere close to his talent level...

And IF Gordon stays relatively healthy...

And IF AD stays healthy and continues to improve...

We are locked in at a much higher playoff seed than anyone could have imagined. No one would want to face us in the playoffs.

Oden is a giant if though.

It is a hellish experience.

Get off of here, go study man. Just keep filling your head with this crap, vomit it out, and then promptly forget it the second you take that section.

And LSU is doing much better than Loyola is, that's for sure.

Thanks.

Worse, but it's across the board w all schools. Got beat by Tulane for the first time in years last July. Was like 74% or something. Before that usually been in the 80s or 90s.

Not even going to talk about the 40% overall passage rate February.

Dallas is apparently very close to extending Wright at around $4m/yr. Not sure if that would limit them to the room level exception or not, but it does look like they're going to be right against the cap.

Hoopsworld is showing Dallas at $53.7 in committed salary right now. LINK Adding $4 million to that would seem to limit them to the room exception. The "weeks to sift through medical reports" comment from yesterday certainly makes it sound like you don't want to be counting on Oden as part of your rotation. Dallas would be pretty stupid to choose Oden over Dalembert.

I would assume they could do the contract timing dance, as well, but I'll leave that to the cap guys.
