That’s bullshite, I go straight for the jugular and say the owner Gayle and the need to sell the team is how they can improve. She’s the worst and has run every business she touches I to the ground.
You’ll give her a pass because you are dearly afraid a new owner will move the team.

I like the over on 33. If Zion plays 60 games we surpass that just on that happening.
While that is definitely possible or probably of not being the case - I really like Herb, Trey, Jose, having prime in career type of great years. Missi second year growth and Poole and these rooks….
This could be an exciting team. I could easily see this as a play in team.

I'd sadly take the under on a 33 line.
No reason to trust that our star will stay healthy and the West is absolutely stacked. If we were in the east I'd take the over.

How is the West more stacked this year than last, when we were projected over 36 wins?
I honestly think we are better now and there is an urgency to win. All of the teams that finished bottom 10 were trying to lose last year, intentionally tanking. We aren't going to be trying to lose this year. Would we really be worse than teams trying to lose?

Several teams in the West have already gotten better, and the East is going to be MUCH worse than it was

Every move we made this offseason so far has been about NOT having to rely on Zion. If Zion is out and everyone else is healthy we are still a good team..
This comment is made assuming all 3 of Bey/ Fears/ Queen are duds and negative players. That's 3 players we added who are most likely already better than our bench players last year. Not including Karlo/ Missi continuing to mature.
I forgot on this message board we are the only team that can have injuries and the only team whose rookies are meaningless.

I guess I'll put it another way. We finished ahead of one team last year. The Jazz, Blazers and maybe the Suns are the only teams I can see us possibly finishing ahead of this year. Teams we would be trying to catch up to like the Spurs and mavericks are certainly going to be better (if Flagg is advertised).
There are obviously a ton of variables, but I look at our team and I don't see us being better, given Murray is for sure out and I have no reason to trust Zion will be healthy. Jordan Poole over CJ is fine, but it does not move the needle.
Simply put we just aren't a good basketball team and there are a lot of good basketball teams in the west.

But everyone else is not healthy. We already know that. And I'd disagree either way.

That's not at all assuming that. Not factoring in what we had to give up I like both of our draft picks and Bey. But rookies, especially not top 3 picks very rarely are difference makers year one. And we were a 21 win team. No I don't expect us to be a 21 win team but I also don't expect improving the bench to make us a team that is a 40 win team.
I've been a Pes optimist pretty much my entire fandom, not a negaPel but I don't look at this roster and think they are a team that can sniff the playoffs.

Are you seriously trying to say that it is ridiculous to not have high expectations for Zion playing a lot of games?
