I think Lamelo is more interesting than Zion also but it wouldn’t help the spacing.
But yeah, Zion must be traded for an east team.

Trey is worth more than Kuminga, but not by a ton and Lamelo is worth more than Zion
Trey has a long-term cost controlled contract and Kuminga does not.
The real value with Trey and Herb is they have good long-term cost controlled contracts for their skillset.
The Pels are not a franchise that can get these type of players outside of hitting on excellent draft picks and extending their players appropriately.
We can’t get someone like Trey and Herb in free agency. A trade for them will be difficult because big market teams would love the type of players they are on reasonable deals.

I haven’t. It’s too painful. I’m going to try and ignore the 2026 draft

19 more games when Z has been in the league for 1 more year is significant. We have people in this thread acting like Zion is more durable and available than Lamelo and the numbers simply don't bare that out. In fact, it's not even close.
"Listed a bunch of nonsense"
What specifically was nonsense? You asked and I attempted to be fair and honest in my response. You can make your own list of why you think Z is better for the franchise than Lamelo. If you make decent points, I won't dismiss them.
3 out of 4 people upvoted my post btw, so it appears that you are the only one that didn't see some truth in it.

Lamelo is a career 36 percent 3 point shooter on high volume and range out to the logo. That definitely would help spacing out more than Zion. Lamelo also is a generational passer w great court vision. Again, helps our spacing bc he would find more open shooters with better passes.
He's a poor defender and a bit of a chucker, but I don't think he's a lost cause. I trust him more than Zion on and off the floor. The Devil we know in Zion, is not a Devil I want to keep dancing with. If we get someone as talented as Lamelo back in a Zion trade after 7 years of his failures, that is a huge win in my book.
