Right, but maybe Chicago would want Zo? I'm not sure if we have the ammo to get that high even if this is true.

feel almost like a guarantee in this draft there will be one guy who drops a lot further than we thought and could possibly scoop up if we want him at 24 or near 24

Yeah, I'm really not that interested in trading up. These guys are so interchangeable. Okungwa seems like somebody to maybe move up for if he falls to 9 or 10, but I don't see much to distinguish the guards and wings.

I think we are interested in acquiring in any top pick.

We'd have to give up all of our picks this year and a future pick to get 4, at best. And probably take on Otto or someone like that.

Not worth giving up our 2021 1st to move up in this draft

I know the board is iffy on Bey but I love Nova guys in the league. All seem to pan out well. I wouldn't mind him at 13 but it all depends on who is there. Like if Hayes fell there I'd take him, of course. Lewis is another I throw into that category.

No our 2021 1st, no, but I'd give up the Lakers one.

Bey would be the ultimate "solid" choice. He's a guy that should have a career in the league for awhile. But he's never going to be a star.

Teams always draft a Bey type once they have their star player, happens again and again. They play it safe.

High floor but low ceiling.

I feel like there’s a lot of guys in this draft that are like that. I’m sure whoever we pick we’ll at least convince ourselves it’s a great choice until we see him on the court and go from there

Thinking...could we be a third team in the the rumored Warriors-Bulls deal?

Warriors need bodies and depth...Bledsoe or Hill fit that... as does Carter

Carter, Hill, 13 to the Warriors
2 to the Bulls
4 to the Pelicans?

Does that work? Not enough? Just thinking it through.

Not even remotely close to enough from us.

For Pels to jump up that far, we would have to send Lonzo or multiple future 1sts.

If that pick isn't top 8 next year (which it won't be), it's an unprotected 2022 1st. I wouldn't trade that pick, just on the off chance that LeBron and AD aren't there that season.

They wouldn't trade White straight up for Ball.

Breaking, per an NBA source: The Magic have agreed to trade their second-round pick (45th overall) in tonight’s draft to the Milwaukee Bucks for two future second-round picks.

Bucks need cheap 2nd round rookies to fill out a roster.

Eh they might. Its really interesting tho if they do really like Lonzo. I'm way more interested in getting Colby White from them over any draft pick.

Yeah, especially since they're hard capped with the Bogdonovich trade

I guess this is how Milwaukee is planning to add bodies to that roster.
